AE911Truth.org film pre-release version; available for purchase/download

Statement from Richard Gage, AIA, Founder, Architects & Engineers for 9/11
Truth

Welcome to our Pre-Release Edition of “9/11: Explosive Evidence — Experts Speak Out” where we are partnering with you to complete this important film with sufficient quality to maximize its effect in informing and enlightening professionals and the general public worldwide about this critical evidence regarding the destruction of the three World Trade Center skyscrapers.

AE911Truth is encouraged by the excitement surrounding this new milestone documentary. Now is the time for all responsible professionals to speak out about the scientific
forensic evidence that has been hidden and distorted by officials tasked with reporting the facts — yet discovered and disseminated by thousands of truth seekers around the world with no axes to grind.

Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth now number over 1,500 technical and building professionals, 43 of whom are doing just that in this film — speaking out about the deep flaws in the official story.

This is a time that calls for courage — and we applaud these professionals for their bold choice to participate in this documentary.

The film was inspired two years ago by our video team member, Marty McGee of Buffalo, NY, who pressed forward with this vision by flying around the country
in a 24-stop route to videotape the experts.

Over one hundred hours of remarkable testimony was distilled into this documentary. However, we’ve already posted a dozen full-length interviews on our website
and plan to publish them all for you… Continue reading

First responders decry exclusion from 9/11 ceremony

By Jeff Stein
August 30, 2011
CNN

New York (CNN) — When debris rained from the sky in lower Manhattan on September
11, 2001, the first responders to the terrorist attack did not turn away. They
rushed to the World Trade Center buildings while the world around them crumbled.

Yet now, after all the wreckage has been cleared and the rebuilding has begun,
their path is again blocked — not by flying chunks of smoldering rubble, but
by space constraints.

The first responders are not invited to this year’s September 11 memorial ceremony
at ground zero, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s office confirmed Monday.

It’s a painful insult for many of the approximately 3,000 men and women who
risked their lives, limbs and lungs on that monumental day, puncturing another
hole in a still searing wound.

In a statement, Bloomberg spokesman Andrew Brent said the commemoration ceremony
is for the victims’ families.

"While we are again focused on accommodating victims’ family members,
given the space constraints, we’re working to find ways to recognize and honor
first responders, and other groups, at different places and times," Brent
said.

But first responder John Feal, founder of an advocacy group for the police
officers, firefighters, civilian volunteers and others who worked at ground
zero, assailed Brent’s response, saying Bloomberg "lives in his own world."

"The best of the best that this country offered 10 years ago are being
neglected and denied their rightful place," Feal said.

9/11 Ten Years Later: When State Crimes Against Democracy Succeed

Cover photo of 9/11 Ten Years LaterDavid Ray Griffin

Introduction: 9/11 Ten Years Later

The words in the title of this book – “9/11 Ten Years Later” – are often followed with an exclamation point. The exclamation point may be a way of expressing, by members of the 9/11 Truth Movement, amazement that the truth has not already been publicly revealed. The exclamation point might be used by detractors of this movement — perhaps along with an expletive — to express their feeling that it is time for these people to “get a life.” The exclamation point might reflect a position somewhat in the middle — of spouses of members hoping that no more years of their family life will be oriented around the work of trying to get the truth revealed.

In any case, for reasons discussed in this book (especially the final two chapters), there is nothing surprising about the fact that the 9/11 crime has not been revealed. Those who have gained control of a state in an ostensible democracy have many means not only for orchestrating major crimes, but also for preventing those crimes (including their crimes against democracy itself) from being publicized.

What is somewhat surprising, perhaps to the perpetrators themselves, is the fact that the 9/11 Truth Movement is still alive and, in fact, continues to grow. The first professional 9/11 organization, Scholars for 9/11 Truth, was formed in 2005, and since then a dozen professional organizations have been created. It was not until 2006 that architect Richard Gage started… Continue reading

French, Italian, German Media to Leave US and UK in the Dust

10annivbanner

From the Remember Building 7 Campaign:

September 2, 2011

If you thought the 10th Anniversary of 9/11 would be an endless barrage of
media coverage rehashing the official story and taking occasional swipes at
the 9/11 truth movement with one-sided reporting, think again.

Well, if you live in Europe, that is.

This coming Sunday, September 4, three major European channels will air in-
depth stories on the Remember Building 7 campaign. M6, among France’s
largest channels, will show a 90-minute documentary about various 9/11 family
and first responder groups, a significant portion of which will cover Remember
Building 7 (click here to see the trailer). In the same vein, RAI 3, Italy’s
BBC, will show a feature length documentary that devotes significant time to
Remember Building 7. And RTL, one of Germany’s largest channels, will
show a Spiegel TV special about Remember Building 7 and the 9/11 truth movement.

That is just the beginning. Next week more stories will follow. When all is
said and done, tens of millions of Europeans will learn about Building 7 during
the 10th Anniversary.

With the 10th Anniversary Campaign now in high gear, this coverage comes at
exactly the right time to help the campaign reach $1 million by September 11.

If you have not yet made your donation, please go to RememberBuilding7.org
now and get it done!

Meanwhile, in the US and UK, journalists are having a tougher time being journalists,
and they just don’t seem to get that shamelessly overt bias isn’t
that good at persuading viewers (unless it’s on FOX News).…

9/11 After A Decade: Have We Learned Anything?

By Paul Craig Roberts

August 24, 2011 Information Clearing House — – -In a few days it will be the tenth anniversary of September 11, 2001. How well has the US government’s official account of the event held up over the decade?

Not very well. The chairman, vice chairman, and senior legal counsel of the 9/11 Commission wrote books partially disassociating themselves from the commission’s report. They said that the Bush administration put obstacles in their path, that information was withheld from them, that President Bush agreed to testify only if he was chaperoned by Vice President Cheney and neither were put under oath, that Pentagon and FAA officials lied to the commission and that the commission considered referring the false testimony for investigation for obstruction of justice.

In their book, the chairman and vice chairman, Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton, wrote that the 9/11 Commission was “set up to fail.” Senior counsel John Farmer, Jr., wrote
that the US government made “a decision not to tell the truth about what happened,” and that the NORAD “tapes told a radically different story from what had been told to us and the public.” Kean said, “We to this day don’t know why NORAD told us what they told us, it was just so far from the truth.”

Most of the questions from the 9/11 families were not answered. Important witnesses were not called. The commission only heard from those who supported the government’s account. The commission was a controlled political operation,… Continue reading

“Mounting Evidence” – New book from Dr. Paul Rea

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AS 10TH ANNIVERSARY APPROACHES, NEW BOOK CHALLENGES OFFICIAL STORY OF 9/11

Cover photo of Mounting Evidence (Newark, California August 11, 2011). Years after most of us thought the Crime of the Century was solved, additional evidence demands a closer look.

While next month ‘s commemorations in New York, San Francisco and other cities are affirming the official narrative for the 9/11 tragedy, MOUNTING EVIDENCE shows how it doesn’t square with information now available. In each of the key areas — the shifting stories, the remarkable intelligence lapses, the stunning air defense failures, the unprecedented fall of the World Trade Center buildings — the government explanations conflict with what is known today.

There’s little doubt the tragic attacks on 9/11 quickly became the defining events of our time, shaping much of what has followed. But if Americans don’t understand the past, are they ready to face an uncertain future? In MOUNTING EVIDENCE, Dr. Rea shows that by understanding the shattering events of that dark day, Americans can help to end seemingly endless wars, take back their lost personal liberties, and restore their democracy.

While other researchers have written about 9/11, this fact-based volume is the first comprehensive treatment of the many different angles. It connects the dots to reveal disturbing patterns concerning the intelligence failures, the hijackers’ backgrounds, and the role of the Saudi funders.

Presented in a lively, accessible way, Dr. Rea ‘s findings call out for a new investigation. Former US Senator Mike Gravel, who is already organizing ballot referenda in… Continue reading

Who–and What–Are Behind the “Official History” of the Bin Laden Raid?

By Russ Baker

Another original investigation by WhoWhatWhy.com

Article Summary: When you look closely, nothing seems right about what will surely become the accepted account of the raid that nailed America’s enemy number one. And then things get even weirder…

Photo of Father of Writer got the story of the bin Laden raid

The father of the New Yorker writer who got the exclusive inside story of the bin Laden raid

The establishment media just keep getting worse. They’re further and further from good, tough investigative journalism, and more prone to be pawns in complicated games that affect the public interest in untold ways. A significant recent example is The New Yorker ‘s vaunted August 8 exclusive on the vanquishing of Osama bin Laden.

Cover image for story: Getting bin Laden The piece, trumpeted as the most detailed account to date of the May 1 raid in Abbottabad Pakistan, was an instant hit. “Got the chills half dozen times reading @NewYorker killing bin Laden tick tock…exquisite journalism,” tweeted the digital director of the PBS show Frontline . The author, freelancer Nicholas Schmidle, was quickly featured on the Charlie Rose show, an influential determiner of “chattering class” opinion. Other news outlets rushed to praise the story as “exhaustive,” “utterly compelling,” and on and on.

To be sure, it is the kind of granular, heroic story that the public loves, that generates follow-up bestsellers and movie options. The takedown even has a Hollywood-esque code name: “Operation Neptune’s Spear”

Here’s the introduction to the mission commander , full of minute details that help give it a ring of authenticity and suggest the most… Continue reading

CIA aided New York police in spying on Muslims: report

August 24, 2011
By Stephen C. Webster
Rawstory.com

Despite a prohibition on spying within the United States, the Central Intelligence
Agency played a key role in transforming the New York Police Department’s intelligence
unit into a cutting edge spy shop dedicated to gathering information on Muslims,
and not just in New York.

That’s according to a new report out Wednesday by The Associated Press, which
claims a veteran CIA agent helped train one of the NYPD’s detectives in advanced
surveillance methods. They also sent an undercover agent to work in the department,
the report says.

With the CIA’s help, the NYPD has gathered information on cab drivers, street
level food vendors, ethnic book stores, Internet cafes and even mosques, sending
snoops in to listen to sermons — all without a hint of federal, state or local
oversight.

Part of their strategy involves the use of a “Demographic Unit,”
which the NYPD officially denied exists. One undercover officer quoted by AP
said he was ordered to move into an ethnic neighborhood and “act like a
civilian” so his monitors could use him like a “walking camera.”

Detectives have also tapped shopkeepers and “nosy neighbors” in ethnic
neighborhoods to keep them updated on local goings-on, according to the report.
They’ve even sent officers into prisons to promise help for Muslim prisoners,
if they’ll just work with the police.

Unlike the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which is prohibited from
conducting similar operations without prior evidence of wrongdoing, the NYPD
is unrestricted in this manner, although AP noted that the department has been
keen to cover its tracks, to prevent any appearance of civil rights abuses or
racial profiling.…

City snubs finest: Victims’ kin, pols invited but ‘no room’ for first responders at 9/11 anniversary

August 13th 2011
By Alison Gendar
NYDaily News Washington Bureau

9/11 Reflecting PoolWASHINGTON – The cops, firefighters and rescue workers who toiled at Ground
Zero will not be invited to take part in the 10th anniversary ceremony, a city
official told the Daily News Friday.

First responders will instead be asked back to the site at another day for
a separate commemorative ceremony, city officials said.

Space and security logistics were at the heart of the decision, those involved
said.

Family of the nearly 3,000 killed receive first priority at an event with maximum
security.

President Obama’s appearance will make the day even more of a security concern.

For many first responders, though, the news was a bitter pill.

victims at Ground Zero last year for the ninth anniversary of the attacks on
the World Trade Center. Credit: Don Emmert/Pool]

“To have a separate service on another day has no significance, no meaning,”
said David Jacobs of Queens, who volunteered at the site sifting debris and
who lost a childhood friend, a city firefighter, in the attacks.

“For many of us, we gave a lot at that site,” he said.

As many as 91,000 people took part in the initial search and rescue and subsequent
10-month cleanup, according to estimates taken for the city.

In past years, first responders were welcomed to the annual commemoration because
little or no construction had begun at the site and space was not… Continue reading

It Can Be Done. Now is the Time: Americans Can Stop the Corporate Machine and Create a New World

By Kevin Zeese
October2011.org

October2011.org seeks to Stop the Machine and Create a New World. It can be done. Indeed, it must be done and now is the time to do it. The thousands who have joined October2011.org know the challenges we face but we also know that the disastrous direction the country is going is unacceptable. We have seen that the normal tools – elections, lobbying and education – do not work. The U.S. is facing a crisis on many fronts – economic, environmental and in foreign relations – and the government does not respond or even makes things worse.

We certainly understand the despair, lost hope and discouragement that many Americans feel about the U.S. political system. The system seems designed to make change impossible. We also see the power and sophistication of the corporate propaganda media machine. But, we also see people in the United States seeing through the propaganda, understanding the truth and getting angry. In every rebellion around the world that has occurred in the last year – from Egypt to Spain – the view that it can’t be done, the people will not rise up would have been the belief of 95% of the population before it happened. Predicting the future is not as easy as it looks. There is a lot of evidence that the time may be right for an American Awakening. The past is not always the future.

The organizers of October2011.org are well aware of the challenges we face and… Continue reading

International Hearings on 9/11 to begin in Toronto in September

TORONTO, August 8, 2011 — A decade after the events of September 11, 2001, which resulted in the immediate deaths of nearly 3,000 people on American soil, countless victims from toxic dust, and hundreds of thousands of deaths in Afghanistan and Iraq, international hearings on this pivotal event will begin in Toronto in September.

The events of September 11 provided a pretext for a War on Terror that has led to military invasions and occupations, and attacks upon civil and human rights throughout the world. The credibility of the official investigation into the events of September 11, 2001, carried out by the U.S. Government between 2003 and 2005, has been questioned by millions of citizens in the United States and abroad, including victim family members, expert witnesses and international legal experts.

To date, open and transparent judicial hearings to question the official evidence provided by the U.S. Government have never taken place in the United States or abroad. Similarly, no perpetrators of the events of September 11 have ever been brought to justice on American soil.

A group of international citizens has therefore undertaken to privately fund and cause these independent hearings to take place. Because of the global ramifications of the events of 9/11, the initiators of this inquest have opted to select an international location outside of the United States for these hearings to proceed. The city of Toronto, Canada was chosen as an ideal “international” location because of its proximity to New York, Washington and Shanksville (the… Continue reading

Bosnia, Kosovo, and Now Libya: The Human Costs of Washington’s On-Going Collusion with Terrorists

Peter Dale Scott
The Asia-Pacific Journal, Vol 9, Issue 31 No 1, August 1, 2011.

Twice in the last two decades, significant cuts in U.S. and western military spending were foreseen: first after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and then in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. But both times military spending soon increased, and among the factors contributing to the increase were America’s interventions in new areas: the Balkans in the 1990s, and Libya today.1 Hidden from public view in both cases was the extent to which al-Qaeda was a covert U.S. ally in both interventions, rather than its foe.

U.S. interventions in the Balkans and then Libya were presented by the compliant U.S. and allied mainstream media as humanitarian. Indeed, some Washington interventionists may have sincerely believed this. But deeper motivations – from oil to geostrategic priorities – were also at work in both instances.

In virtually all the wars since 1989, America and Islamist factions have been battling to determine who will control the heartlands of Eurasia in the post-Soviet era. In some countries – Somalia in 1993, Afghanistan in 2001 – the conflict has been straightforward, with each side using the other’s excesses as an excuse for intervention.

But there have been other interventions in which Americans have used al-Qaeda as a resource to increase their influence, for example Azerbaijan in 1993. There a pro-Moscow president was ousted after large numbers of Arab and other foreign mujahedin veterans were secretly imported from Afghanistan, on an airline hastily organized by three former veterans of the CIA’s airline Air America. (The three, all once detailed from the Pentagon to the CIA, were Richard Secord, Harry Aderholt, and Ed Dearborn.)2 This was an ad hoc marriage of convenience: the mujahedin got to defend Muslims against Russian influence in the enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh, while the Americans got a new president who opened up the oilfields of Baku to western oil companies.

The pattern of U.S. collaboration with Muslim fundamentalists against more secular enemies is not new. It dates back to at least 1953, when the CIA recruited right-wing mullahs to overthrow Prime Minister Mossadeq in Iran, and also began to cooperate with the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood.3 But in Libya in 2011 we see a more complex marriage of convenience between US and al-Qaeda elements: one which repeats a pattern seen in Bosnia in 1992-95, and Kosovo in 1997-98. In those countries America responded to a local conflict in the name of a humanitarian intervention to restrain the side committing atrocities. But in all three cases both sides committed atrocities, and American intervention in fact favored the side allied with al-Qaeda.

The cause of intervention was fostered in all three cases by blatant manipulation and falsification of the facts. What a historian has noted of the Bosnian conflict was true also of Kosovo and is being echoed today in Libya: though attacks were “perpetrated by Serbs and Muslims alike,” the pattern in western media was “that killings of Muslims were newsworthy, while the deaths of non-Muslims were not.”4 Reports of mass rapes in the thousands proved to be wildly exaggerated: a French journalist “uncovered only four women willing to back up the story.”5 Meanwhile in 1994 the French intellectual Bernard-Henri Levy (BHL) traveled to Bosnia and fervently endorsed the case for intervention in Bosnia; in 2011 February BHL traveled to Benghazi and reprised his interventionist role for Libya.6

In all of the countries mentioned above, furthermore, there are signs that some American and/or western intelligence groups were collaborating with al-Qaeda elements from the outset of conflict, before the atrocities cited as a reason for intervention.. This suggests that there were deeper reasons for America’s interventions including the desire of western oil companies to exploit the petroleum reserves of Libya (as in Iraq) without having to deal with a troublesome and powerful strong man, or their desire to create a strategic oil pipeline across the Balkans (in Kosovo).7

That the U.S. would support al-Qaeda in terrorist atrocities runs wholly counter to impressions created by the U.S. media. Yet this on-going unholy alliance resurrects and builds on the alliance underlying Zbigniew Brzezinski’s 1978-79 strategy of provocation in Afghanistan, at a time when he was President Carter’s National Security Adviser.

9/11 first responders outraged over exclusion of cancer from Zadroga health act

They sacrificed their bodies – and in some cases, their lives – for their noble
work at Ground Zero, and now they and their loved ones feel abandoned.

Scores of first responders believe they contracted cancer due to the time they
spent at the toxic World Trade Center site and are outraged the disease is being
excluded from the new James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act.

“Every time we bury a New York City firefighter: Cancer. Cancer. Cancer,”
said retired Firefighter Kenneth Specht, who is battling thyroid cancer.

“How can that not be included? It’s absolutely unacceptable.”

Specht, 43, retired in 2008 after 13 years with the FDNY, too sick to keep
working. He spent two months at Ground Zero after the terror attacks, desperately
searching for the remains of his fallen colleagues and unaware that he was breathing
in apparently dangerous chemicals.

“How can they not say, ‘You were in a bad position and we’re going to
try and rectify this?’” said Specht who, because of the cancer and gastroesophageal
reflux disease, is a prisoner in his Nassau County home.

“It’s not about money – we’re looking for some decency,” he said.

Sept. 11 families seek FBI meeting

By JENNIFER EPSTEIN
July 18, 2011
Politico.com

Relatives of victims of the September 11 attacks have asked to meet with the FBI and top members of the Obama administration about allegations reporters from one of Rupert Murdoch’s British papers tried to hack the cell phone accounts of victims.

In letters sent Monday to Attorney General Eric Holder, FBI Director Robert Mueller and Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.), the ranking member on the House Judiciary Committee, a lawyer representing some victims’ families is asking for meetings to discuss a report that journalists from the now-defunct News of the World asked a New York-based private investigator to help them gather information from victims’ phones.

The FBI has initiated an informal probe into the allegations, which were first reported by the Daily Mirror.

“We commend the FBI for opening a preliminary inquiry into this serious issue and we are requesting a meeting to ascertain the scope, goals and timetable of the inquiry,” the letter to Mueller said, Reuters reported. The FBI’s press office declined to comment.

The lawyer representing the victims’ relatives, Norman Siegel, told the wire service that his “clients are troubled about the allegation of potential hacking and they are particularly upset that there now exists an allegation that a newspaper would seek to illegally obtain information about their loved ones.”

“I tried in the letter not to accuse anyone, especially News Corp, of anything yet because you don’t want a media frenzy accusing someone if the facts aren’t there. We want… Continue reading

Co-Chair of 9/11 Inquiry: American Government Covered Up State Assistance to Hijackers

Washington’s Blog

It’s front page news today that :

Journalists at Rupert Murdoch’s now-shuttered News of the World paper tried to access the mobile phones of 9/11 victims, a former New York City police officer claimed on Monday.

It’s also front page news today that the new Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, said that American soldiers are in Iraq because of 9/11 , even though AFP notes:

That was one of the justifications for the 2003 US-led invasion, but the argument has since been widely dismissed.

(see this for details).

Photo of Sen. Bob GrahamBut a more important story – and one which might focus on a more appropriate country than Iraq – is that the co-chair of the Congressional Joint 9/11 Inquiry (Bob Graham) today alleged a cover up by the U.S. government of state assistance by Saudi Arabia to the 9/11 hijackers.

Graham is no flake. He was a member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence for 10 years (including 18 months as chairman), member of the CIA External Advisory Board, chairman of the Commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation and Terrorism, 18-year U.S. senator, two-term governor of Florida, co-chair of the national commission on the BP oil spill, and member of the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission.

Graham writes today in the Daily Beast:

The first two hijackers who entered the United States did so through Los Angeles International Airport in mid-January 2000. Within days they were urged by a shadowy man, already described in an FBI report as an “agent” of the Saudi government, to relocate to San Diego with promises of extensive support–promises on which he promptly delivered.?

Image Comics’ ‘The Big Lie’ asks some big questions

June 14, 2011
By Brian Truitt

TODAY

The Big Lie Exclusive Preview

It has been nearly 10 years since 9/11, and the tragedy is still on the minds of many Americans. One of those, writer and artist Rick Veitch, is convinced we haven’t been told the complete truth about it.

The questions surrounding that fateful day power the themes and story of his new Image Comics series The Big Lie, which debuts Sept. 7 and reteams Veitch with fellow artist Gary Erskine.

Veitch structured the story similarly to the 1963 Twilight Zone episode “No Time Like the Past,” in which a man uses a time machine to try to “fix” three events: warning a Hiroshima policeman about the atomic bomb, assassinating Hitler before World War II and stopping the sinking of the Lusitania.

In The Big Lie, the heroine is a woman named Sandra, who lost her husband, Carl, during the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City. A particle physicist working at the Large Hadron Collider, she figures out a practical way to travel back in time, so she ventures from present day to Manhattan an hour before the first plane hits the towers on Sept. 11, 2001.

She rushes to his office at a risk-management consulting agency, but since she has aged 10 years, Carl can’t quite accept that it’s her. And even though she brings evidence on her iPad, neither her spouse nor his co-workers believe her warnings.

NFL player comes under fire for 9/11 tweets

By Reuters
Rawstory.com

PITTSBURGH (Reuters) – Pittsburgh Steelers halfback Rashard Mendenhall remained a target of sharp criticism by Twitter users on Tuesday after he posted a message questioning whether news that al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was killed should be cheered.

Editor’s Note:
Hardly “news”, really… the reaction to Mendenhall’s Tweets about bin Laden serves as yet another example of the way Americans, and their corporate media, shoot the messenger rather than address any questions. Notice the Steelers corporation’s immediate response was to “support the troops”, as if asking why they’re fighting in the first place is unfathomable, unpatriotic or objectionable. Actually, Mendenhall addressed this very dilemma succinctly with his reply to some of the Twitter responses: “There is not an ignorant bone in my body. I just encourage you to think.”

Bravo, sir! It’s wonderful to see an athlete serve as a true role model, for a change. Thank you.

As spontaneous celebrations broke out in the hours after the nation learned bin Laden was shot dead by U.S. forces in Pakistan, Mendenhall used the social media site to denounce the response.

“What kind of person celebrates death? It’s amazing how people can HATE a man they have never even heard speak. We’ve only heard one side,” Mendenhall wrote in a message posted to the social media site on Monday.

Some Twitter users responded by asking if Mendenhall would have said “the same thing when people celebrated Hitler’s death,” others said it was “ignorant” to give… Continue reading
