Griffin Takes Powerful New Approach to 9/11 Truth

by Tod Fletcher
March 15, 2008

9/11 CONTRADICTIONS by David Ray Griffin is the fifth of his books to examine
the official account of the events of September 11, 2001. This brilliant and highly
readable book takes a new yet simple approach to the truth about 9/11. It focuses
entirely on contradictory statements made by members of the Bush administration,
government departments and agencies, and official bodies such as the 9/11 Commission.
All the statements that Griffin examines are official claims in direct conflict
with other official claims.…

By Logan Murphy

We brought you Attorney General, Michael Mukasey’s tearful remarks about 9/11 and the ongoing FISA battle in Congress last week and on Tuesday’s Countdown, Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow dig deeper into what was either a series of lies from the AG or an admission of gross negligence on the part of the Bush Administration leading up to that tragic day.

Take Action and save the life of Dr. Sami Al-Arian!

Save a life! Palestinian activist Dr. Sami Al-Arian was acquitted in 2005
of bogus "terrorism" charges by a Tampa Bay jury, yet he still remains
imprisoned in the United States.

Dr. Sami Al-Arian is currently on the fifteenth day of a no food or water hunger
strike to protest the legal manipulations and harassment by the Bush Administration
that are keeping him behind bars despite his acquittal by jury and subsequent
plea bargain (signed under significant pressure from the U.S.…

Impeach or Else Rally

Banner for Impeach for Peace
March 17th, 2008 — 3pm
St Paul, MN, Capitol Building

It is now undeniable that the Federal Government has failed us completely. We have asked our representatives to hold the Bush Administration accountable. Instead, they have blocked the Impeachment movement all over our country.

As we approach the anniversary of the illegal Iraq invasion, we have not given up on the idea of holding the criminals in the Bush Administration or those who enable them accountable.…

Searching for truth in Wayne

Note from Jon Gold: This article will be appearing on the front page (2/13/2008) of Main Line Life . To my knowledge, an article like this has never appeared in a newspaper before. Never. Not in the United States, and not in the World. This is what journalism should be. Honest, with no agenda. I would like to give Jeff Cobb my sincerest thanks. You have shown courage and integrity the likes of which haven’t been seen in journalism for a very long time.

September 11th Advocates (‘Jersey Girls’) Comment on the Impending Release of Philip Shenon’s Book

February 6, 2008
Coleen Rowley

As someone also motivated by the need for the truth about 9/11, as well as aware of the way conflicts of interest have a way of covering up truth, let me add my thanks to Philip Shenon on the release of his new book. Also let me share this recent comment forwarded to me by Monica Gabrielle of the September 11th Advocates:

Philip Shenon’s new book, The Commission: The Uncensored History of the 9/11 Investigation, serves to justify our suspicions and the concerns of the Family Steering Committee, that we attempted to publicly air during the course of the 9/11 Commission’s tenure.…

Sibel Edmonds Must be Heard

by Philip Giraldi

Sibel Edmonds is the FBI translator turned whistleblower who decided to go public late in 2002 and has been seeking to tell her story about high level corruption in the United States government involving Turkey and Israel. What makes her story particularly compelling is that the corruption relates to the theft and sale of United States defense secrets, most particularly nuclear technology. Sibel obtained her information while translating Turkish language telephone intercepts directed against several Turkish lobbying groups who had contact with senior officials in the Bush Administration, both at the Pentagon and in the State Department.…

Ties Between White House, Sept 11 Chief

February 4, 2008;

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Sept. 11 commission’s executive director had closer
ties with the White House than publicly disclosed and tried to influence the
final report in ways that the staff often perceived as limiting the Bush administration’s
responsibility, a new book says.

Philip Zelikow, a friend of then-national security adviser Condoleezza Rice,
spoke with her several times during the 20-month investigation that closely
examined her role in assessing the al-Qaida threat.…

Iran showdown has echoes of faked Tonkin attack / Declassified study puts Vietnam events in new light

Iran showdown has echoes of faked Tonkin attack
Nick Juliano
January 11, 2008

A dramatic showdown at sea. Crossed communication signals. Apparently-hostile craft nearby. Sketchy intelligence leading to ratcheted up rhetoric.

The similarities between this week’s confrontation between US warships and Iranian speedboats and events off the coast of North Vietnam 44 years ago were too hard for many experts to miss, leading to the question: Is the Strait of Hormuz 2008’s Gulf of Tonkin?

On Aug.…

Creeping Fascism: History’s Lessons

By Ray McGovern
December 27, 2007

“There are few things as odd as the calm, superior indifference with which I and those like me watched the beginnings of the Nazi revolution in Germany, as if from a box at the theater. … Perhaps the only comparably odd thing is the way that now, years later….”

These are the words of Sebastian Haffner (pen name for Raimund Pretzel), who as a young lawyer in Berlin during the 1930s experienced the Nazi takeover and wrote a first-hand account.…

What YOU Need to Do to Make Impeachment a Reality

In case you’d like to remind representatives of their Federal Oath of Office when you make the calls . . .

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

Suddenly, Impeachment Hearings are Starting to Look Likely

You wouldn’t know it if you just watch TV news or read the corporate press,
but this past Tuesday, something remarkable happened. Despite the pig-headed
opposition of the Democratic Party’s top congressional leadership, a majority
of the House, including three Republicans, voted to send Dennis Kucinich’s long
sidelined Cheney impeachment bill (H Res 333) to the Judiciary Committee for

The vote was 218 to 194.

Now the behind-the-scenes partisan maneuvering that preceded that vote was
arcane indeed, with Kucinich first exercising a member’s privilege motion to
present his stymied impeachment bill to the full House, only to have Speaker
Nancy Pelosi arrange for a colleague (Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-MD) to
offer a motion to table it.…

Seven CIA Veterans Challenge 9/11 Commission Report

September 24, 2007
by Alan Miller

Official Account of 9/11 a “Joke” and a “Cover-up”

September 23, 2007 — Seven CIA veterans have severely criticized the official account of 9/11 and have called for a new investigation. “I think at simplest terms, there’s a cover-up. The 9/11 Report is a joke,” said Raymond McGovern, 27-year veteran of the CIA, who chaired National Intelligence Estimates during the seventies. “There are a whole bunch of unanswered questions.…

Outreach to Churches in Indiana

Dear friends,

I wanted to share with you my latest effort on behalf of 9/11 truth. I’m sending
a packet of information and a free DVD to about 50 local churches in the South
Bend area, to coincide with the sixth anniversary of 9/11.

Each church will receive a personal letter, copies of two South Bend Tribune
articles about the two 9/11 truth conferences I organized, a copy of the Doonesbury
cartoon, the October 2006 CBS/NYT poll, and a list of websites & books (with
library availability on the titles).…

Gonzales, Pelosi, and the Survival of Congress

David Swanson
August 1, 2007

Speaker Nancy Pelosi said today that if she were not Speaker she would probably back impeachment. Other Congress Members are of course free to do what even she admits she would do in their position. They should, I think, start taking her advice and ignoring her ban on impeachment.

The reason Pelosi is being questioned about impeachment has to do with Gonzo, Alberto Gonzales, and a proposal just introduced to impeach him.…
