Message from Kevin
By all accounts, the unprecedented events of September 11th, 2001 “changed everything”. It is therefore critical that conscientious Americans, as well as all good people around the world, understand these events in detail. Unfortunately the official reports, including The 9/11 Commission Report and the NIST WTC Report, written by those working under the direction of the Bush Administration, fall far short of providing the explanations needed.
Both the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and my former employer, Underwriters Laboratories (UL), seem to have taken the stance that the public does not have a right to know what fire resistance tests were performed on the steel component assemblies used to build the World Trade Center (WTC) towers. But since NIST’s latest story for collapse of the WTC towers depends on the fire-induced failure of these steel components, there is little information that could be more important at this time.
When I worked there, top management at UL made clear to me that UL performed these required tests. They have since stated that there is “no evidence” that any firm tested the steel. Being tax-exempt, due to their status as a public safety-testing organization, UL should be held accountable for being honest and open with the public about the history of their testing.
To help ensure this accountability, I’ve filed a lawsuit against UL for wrongful termination. My attorneys and I hope to gain more information about UL’s role in the testing of the WTC steel assemblies, and any other involvement UL has had with the WTC towers or the NIST investigation.…Continue reading

“If independent reporters ever want to gain evidence that proves that elements within the U.S. government had prior knowledge of the 9/11 attacks but failed to defend against them, or even anticipated and then enhanced the impact of the events for future effect, then transcripts of bin Laden’s U.S. intercepted communications between January — September 2001 would most likely make the case.”
–Ed Haas, Muckraker Report, September 21, 2006 http://www.muckrakerreport.com/id301.html
Most people will remember the infamous “bin Laden confession video” which was reportedly ‘obtained’ by US forces in Afghanistan after the fall of Jalalabad in November, 2001. The video, which has been offered as proof by the Bush administration that Osama bin Laden ordered the September 11, 2001 attacks, was broadcast in media outlets beginning in December 2001.
But now, a researcher claims that several kinds of evidence related to the video show that the US military’s story of its origin is false.
Drawing on information gleaned directly from translations of the audio, public statements by Tony Blair and mainstream news articles, researcher Maher Osseiran has offered a compelling account of the origin of the video. His shocking conclusion is that the video was not ‘obtained’ by US forces in Jalalabad; rather it was very likely the product of a US-sponsored ‘sting operation’, possibly conducted with the assistance of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, in late September, 2001.
Osseiran has been researching and publishing articles about the story for more than a year now, but now he has… Continue reading
The Patriots By Dr. Bob Bowman, Lt. Col., USAF, ret.
The United States is in trouble. We’re in danger of becoming a fascist dictatorship where big government and big business combine to rule, and where the people are considered just a source of labor. The marriage of government and the investor class has succeeded in exporting our jobs, importing illegal aliens to provide a pool of cheap labor, and thus driving down wages for all American workers and destroying the middle class. Their foreign and military policies have led us into unnecessary wars of aggression to gain raw materials and enhance profits of the global robber barons. Their trade policies have resulted in capital flight, job loss, trade deficits, and the ownership of much of our infrastructure by foreign interests.
We’ve gotten into this fix because our presidents, of both parties, have been servants of the global investors, and because our representatives in Congress, again of both parties, have abdicated their Constitutional responsibilities and subjected themselves to an imperial presidency.
“..big government and big business combine to rule…”
We, the People of the United States of America , deserve better. We must demand a government which (1) follows the Constitution, (2) honors the truth, and (3) serves the people. We Patriots can bring about such a government by electing Patriots to Congress and recruiting Patriots already in government to our cause. It is always tempting to start yet another political party, but our system makes such a course futile. Until… Continue reading

When Matthew Rothschild, editor of the online magazine The Progressive, wrote an article called “Enough of the 9/11 Conspiracies, Already”, we all knew he was not talking about the conspiracy theory that the US government sells us to justify the expanding 9/11 Wars. To the contrary, in writing that article Mr. Rothschild was selling that same theory himself. What he actually meant was that people should not question the US government’s story of terror because credentialed experts have been found to support it. But the fact is that the experts found to support the official conspiracy theory of 9/11 are predominantly those who profit from doing so. That’s not to say that all of these people were “part of the conspiracy”. But they are, whether consciously or not, a part of the cover-up. And that, of course, is the greater crime.
The Bush Administration employed a number of such credentialed experts to give us multiple explanations for the unprecedented destruction of three tall steel-framed buildings at the World Trade Center (WTC). Unfortunately, all of those explanations have proven to be false, and this fact reminds us that academic credentials don’t necessarily make a person more capable, or more likely, to tell the truth.
Exactly how they could find so many experts on the fire-induced collapse of tall buildings is not immediately clear, considering such an event had never happened before. But it did help that the questions were quickly framed as being… Continue reading

A year ago, the polling group Zogby asked Americans whether the government is “covering up” the true events of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Forty-two percent said yes.
Movies challenging the official version of events can be found all over the Internet. One of them, “9/11: Press for Truth,” will play this weekend at the Guild Cinema in Nob Hill. The film adapts the exhaustive 9/11 timeline assembled by Paul Thompson, a graduate of Stanford University. It also talks to victims’ relatives who have been at odds with the Bush administration.
Colin Donoghue, a recent political science graduate from the University of New Mexico, pushed for the screening in Albuquerque.
Donoghue said he didn’t get interested in the theories that challenge the official reports until about a year ago.
“Initially, I didn’t think that much about the official story,” he said. “In fact, a friend of mine at the time (of the attacks) said he thought George Bush was in on it. I kind of rolled my eyes at him. I didn’t think there was anything to it.”
Then he read David Ray Griffin’s “The New Pearl Harbor: Disturbing Questions About the Bush Administration and 9/11″ and Griffin’s follow-up, “The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions.”
“I became concerned that the official story didn’t hold up to the facts,” Donoghue said.
Government detractors suggest the media have failed to adequately report information that contradicts the official version of events, including:

The war on terror is being used to open the door to serious threats to our civil liberties. Exposition of any lies supporting such threats could be helpful to the protection of our Constitution.
If the current regime lies about so much, why shy away from asking the hardest questions about 9/11?
The lies which brought about the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution were a landmark lesson for American anti-imperialists. Why is Operation Northwoods unworthy of our concern?
It is said that the first casualty of war is the truth. If both major parties and the leaders of the antiwar movement have no interest in researching lies used to justify our current war, who deserves the most criticism?
Ultimately, we don’t have to prove who did what. All we have to prove is that the government is lying. The fact that we still need the power of subpoena means we shouldn’t be charged with the responsibility of already having answered all the hardest questions.
The burden of proof for “debunkers” is not the preponderance of the evidence. Their burden of proof is to establish beyond a reasonable doubt that a thorough investigation could disprove our case. This also means than if a debunker makes a good case about some aspect of our case, they still face the burden of making just as strong a case against ALL of our arguments. National Boycott To Impeach for Peace and Justice

Many resources are available at this site, including “worst banks,” organizations to support, video, artwork, and much more.
WHY A BOYCOTT?
On January 27 2007, 500,000 people marched on Washington D.C. to call for an end to the war and the impeachment of the president and vice-president. Those calls were ignored. This boycott comes on the heels of millions of letters and phone calls, dozens of books, scores of speakers and action after action since the first charges were levied against the administration.
President Clinton faced impeachment on the grounds of lying about having sex with an intern. In short order, millions of dollars were spent investigating these allegations. If Clinton’s sexal misconduct warranted impeachment preceedings, then surely this administration’s Constitutional misconduct requires scrutiny.Yet, none of the public pressure so far has been enough to even spark a word of indignation against this administration.
If the speeches are not heard, the marches are not witnessed, the votes are not counted and the voice of the people is not loud enough to get the attention of lawmakers then we must do something else. We must show our strength not only in political terms but also in economic terms.
The marches, books, movies, lectures and petitions all speak directly to the politicians…and they aren’t listening. So let’s put pressure on the people they do listen to 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.…Continue reading
Bringing Down the House of Cards
The Final “Leg” of the Journey By Steve Bhaerman
Apologies in advance for sending such a long piece. There’s research and details that I felt work better as part of the text than a hyperlink.
It’s a bit of a mixed feeling to realize that millions and millions of people who didn’t get this distinction two, four or six years ago now understand that the “political’ issues we now face aren’t about right and left, they’re about right and wrong. On one hand, what took you so long? On the other, thank God and welcome aboard.
Although the media has downplayed it — it doesn’t fit with the general stupidization program of creating a lot of heat but very little light — more and more actual conservatives and even members of the religious right are coming to see the Bush-Cheney regime as a rogue administration and a thin cover for criminal enterprise. Such right wing stalwarts as former Georgia Rep. Bob Barr and Richard Viguerie (one of the architects of the far right wing) have formed an organization to protect our civil liberties from our own government. Chuck Baldwin, an associate of Jerry Falwell, has become an open advocate of impeachment and writes a very articulate column. These folks are far bolder than the Democrats in this regard, and they will play a key role when impeachment happens — and it will.
Now some of you reading this who have a deeper spiritual understanding… Continue reading
04/30/07 “ICH” — — “If you can’t say something positive about someone, don’t say anything.” This was drummed into me by my Irish grandmother and, as was the case with most of her admonishments, it has stood me in good stead. On occasion, though, it has been a real bother–as when I felt called to comment on George Tenet’s apologia, In the Center of the Storm, coming soon to a bookstore near you.
On the verge of despair, I ran into an old classmate of Tenet’s from PS 94 in Little Neck, Queens. Help at last. He told me that George was more handsome than his twin brother Billy, and that his outgoing nature and consummate political skill got him elected president of the student body.
Positive enough, Grandma? Now let me add this.
George Tenet’s book shows that he remains, first and foremost, a politician–with no clue as to the proper role of intelligence work. He is unhappy about going down in history as “Slam Dunk Tenet.” George protests that his famous remark to President Bush on Dec. 21, 2002 was not meant to assure the president that available intelligence on weapons of mass destruction in Iraq was a “slam dunk.” Rather he meant that the argument that Saddam Hussein had such weapons could be readily enhanced to slam-dunk status in order to sell war on Iraq. Yesterday evening on CBS’ 60 Minutes Tenet explained what he meant when he uttered those words–the words he says have now been distorted to blame him for the war in Iraq.…Continue reading
The Unearthing: An Awakening Has Arrived
With Truth Comes Awakening
By Manuel Valenzuela
The suppression of truth has long been among the highest priorities for the
upper echelons of power and authority. For a minority elite that clings to power
by the manipulation of the masses using an omnipresent cocktail of lies, deception,
mass-produced ignorance and ingrained propaganda, the destruction of truth is
an essential method of control. It is a formula that has worked to unmitigated
success for the elite throughout history, whether the shadows of power stretch
from ancient pyramids, marble temples, castles, mansions or halls of governance.
Those holding the levers of power and control understand, better than most,
that the dissemination of truths to a blind majority could spell the end of
their reign, for truth brings sight to the blind.
These entities understand that truth is like a massive breath of fresh mountain
air, pure and energizing, refreshing and invigorating, and that once inhaled
by the masses, the balance of control can easily be disturbed and seriously
threatened. Revolution of the many against the few oftentimes results, mostly
to the enormous detriment of the powerful. They know that widespread circulation
of the truths of what they have done in the past and are at present doing to
the majority could light a flame onto a massive cauldron overflowing with dry
kindling, sparking an enormous inferno of anger. Truth, in short, could lead
to an awakening of hundreds of millions of human beings who for too long have
had their minds held captive by the instruments of control used by those in

man. His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
from Georgia Tech and a master’s in electrical engineering from USC. Ready worked

As unlikely as it may seem to some, Ready also is the man responsible for starting

June 11, 2007 — How many times has the now infamous Osama bin Laden “confession video” played in the corporate media after its release on December 13, 2001? How many newspapers carried the story of Osama bin Laden, confessing to his prior knowledge of the 9/11 attacks, in their December 14, 2001 editions? How about worldwide? Combined, how many television stations, radio broadcasts, and newspapers do you think ran segments and stories about the content of this video?
Considering the number of television and radio news media outlets globally, coupled with the fact that many of the television news stations in the United States played portions of this video every 15 minutes for weeks after its release, and it can be safely estimated that this “confession video” has played millions of times since its release nearly six years ago. It can also be accepted as fact that the story of the “confession tape” was deemed fit for print repeatedly in every newspaper and news magazine in the United States and nearly every other similar type of publication worldwide.
Without a doubt, exposure to the “confession video” has reached every civilized corner of the earth in which a press can be found. Millions of times hundreds of millions of people saw, heard, or read about the video. On December 13, 2001 the video was not a secret anymore. With its sheer volume of exposure, there should be no secrets about it. Yet, to this day, documentation related to the discovery of the video and its authenticity is being guarded by elements of the U.S.…Continue reading
The Jersey Girls Deserve Answers
It has been said that the intelligence agencies have to be right 100% of the time. And the terrorists only have to get lucky once. This explanation for the devastating attacks of September 11th, simple on its face, is wrong in its value,” because the 9-11 terrorists were not just lucky once. They were lucky over and over again. When you have this repeated pattern of broken protocols, broken laws, broken communication,” one cannot still call it luck. If at some point, we don’t look to hold the individuals accountable for not doing their jobs, properly, then how can we ever expect for terrorists to not get lucky again?
–Mindy Kleinberg, one of the Jersey Girls
September 11, 2001 is a day etched in our memories. No more so than for the victims’ families, including the Jersey Girls–four widows of men who died in the Twin Towers.
Mindy Kleinberg, along with Kristen Breitweiser, Patty Casazza, and Lorie Van Auken did what you might do under similar circumstances–they asked questions. They began collecting information and following news accounts. They began seeing several things that troubled them. Before long, they had made contact with each other. They worked together, publicly, to get answers. Somewhere along the line they became known as “the Jersey Girls.”
Their story is told in 9/11 Press for Truth.
It’s been said that, “Our quality of life is determined in large part by the quality of the questions we ask ourselves.” Well, the quality and size of our government is determined by the questions we ask when things like the 9-11 attacks happen.…Continue reading

Whistleblower Center, June 19, 2007:
Take Action Now to ensure that S.274, the Senate whistleblower protection bill,
The Good News:
Last week, the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs
voted to approve S.274 and send it to the Senate floor for debate. S.274 is
the Senate companion to the House bill H.R. 985. This legislation, if passed,
would constitute an important and hard fought victory for Federal employees.
S.274 has thus far drawn significant bi-partisan support, and should it reach
the Senate floor, is almost certain to pass with a veto-proof majority.
The Bad News:
After the vote, committee member Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) placed a hold on the
legislation, which, unless lifted by Sen. Coburn, could effectively kill the
This is a classic case of a Republican Senator carrying water for an administration
which has already issued a veto threat to the House version of this bill. It
is clear that the Bush Administration fears the type of effective oversight
that S.274/H.R.985 would provide. Those in power desperately want to hold on
to the current laws, because if these improvements to the whistleblower protection
laws were to pass, it would give employees the courage to speak the truth about
corruption and malfeasance that this administration has tried so hard to cover
Cheney Defiant on Classified Material
Executive Order Ignored Since 2003
Washington Post Staff Writer
Friday, June 22, 2007; A01
Vice President Cheney’s office has refused to comply with an executive order
governing the handling of classified information for the past four years and
recently tried to abolish the office that sought to enforce those rules, according
to documents released by a congressional committee yesterday.
Since 2003, the vice president’s staff has not cooperated with an office at
the National Archives and Records Administration charged with making sure the
executive branch protects classified information. Cheney aides have not filed
reports on their possession of classified data and at one point blocked an inspection
of their office. After the Archives office pressed the matter, the documents
say, Cheney’s staff this year proposed eliminating it.
The dispute centers on a relatively obscure process but underscores a wider
struggle waged in the past 6 1/2 years over Cheney’s penchant for secrecy. Since
becoming vice president, he has fought attempts to peer into the inner workings
of his office, shielding an array of information such as the industry executives
who advised his energy task force, details about his privately funded travel
and Secret Service logs showing who visits his official residence.
The aggressive efforts to protect the operations of his staff have usually
pitted Cheney against lawmakers, interest groups or media organizations, sometimes
going all the way to the Supreme Court. But the fight about classified information
regulation indicates that the vice president has resisted oversight even by
other parts of the Bush administration.…
Editor’s Note: Should an actual “showdown” occur over the constitutionality of Cheney’s stonewalling, we would welcome it. Let’s know exactly where we stand with respect to the willingness of elected officials to stand up to the criminals-in-chief.
It’s well past the time Leahy and company should have been pressing for these sorts of answers. Get on with it.

The Bush administration may soon face a courtroom showdown over its secret eavesdropping programme after subpoenas were issued to the White House, Vice-President Dick Cheney, and the Justice Department.
There is a storm gathering over Mr Cheney in particular, with increasingly vocal demands for his impeachment for “political crimes against the nation”.
The Senate Judiciary Committee wants to know the legal basis, if any, for the placing of wiretaps on American citizens without court warrants, as part of the war on terror.
These taps were placed by the National Security Agency, which runs a vast international electronic eavesdropping and codebreaking web with Britain’s GCHQ. When reports emerged in the media of the wiretaps, it provoked widespread anger.
The Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Patrick Leahy gave the Bush administration until 18 July to hand over documents which the White House described last week as highly classified and off limits.
Senator Leahy wrote: “Over the past 18 months, this committee has made no fewer than nine formal requests to the Department of Justice and to the White House, seeking information and documents about the authorisation of and legal justification for this programme.”
The eavesdropping programme began after the attacks of 11 September 2001.…Continue reading

Is it possible that the anthrax attacks were launched from within our own government? A former Bush 1 advisor thinks it is.
Francis A. Boyle, an international law expert who worked under the first Bush Administration as a bioweapons advisor in the 1980s, has said that he is convinced the October 2001 anthrax attacks that killed five people were perpetrated and covered up by criminal elements of the U.S. government. The motive: to foment a police state by killing off and intimidating opposition to post-9/11 legislation such as the USA PATRIOT Act and the later Military Commissions Act.
“After the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, the Bush Administration tried to ram the USA PATRIOT Act through Congress,” Boyle said in a radio interview with Austin-based talk-show host Alex Jones. “That would have set up a police state.
“Senators Tom Daschle (D-South Dakota) and Patrick Leahy (D-Vermont) were holding it up because they realized what this would lead to. The first draft of the PATRIOT Act would have suspended the writ of habeas corpus [which protects citizens from unlawful imprisonment and guarantees due process of law]. Then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, come these anthrax attacks.”
“At the time I myself did not know precisely what was going on, either with respect to September 11 or the anthrax attacks, but then the New York Times revealed the technology behind the letter to Senator Daschle. [The anthrax used was] a trillion spores per gram, [refined with] special electro-static treatment.…Continue reading
