Please don’t be offended if you don’t see your event, movie, book, or action in this video. There is literally just too much to fit into a 10 minute video. There is too much to fit into a 3 hour full-length movie. Thank you to everyone that gave their two cents here, and here, to Nicholas Levis, John Albanese, Kyle Hence, Carol Brouillet, Janice Matthews, Justin Martell, Luke Rudkowski, Dylan Avery, and to Lorie Van Auken for helping me make this video.…Continue reading

NEW YORK — Two dozen family members of Sept. 11 victims signed a letter
Wednesday saying they don’t believe in the fairness of the military trials of
five men charged with orchestrating the terrorist attacks, and some suggested
their opinions cost them attendance at the proceedings.
While the family members who attended this week’s proceedings at Guantánamo
Bay Naval Base in Cuba expressed support for the tribunals, they also said "that
many of us do not believe these military commissions to be fair, in accordance
with American values, or capable of achieving the justice that 9/11 family members
and all Americans deserve," according to the letter released by the American
Civil Liberties Union.…

December 8, 2008 – Pearl Harbor Day
Sixty-seven years ago, on Sunday, December 7, 1941 the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, killing over two thousand people and wounding over a thousand. The attack enabled FDR to enter World War II, and prompted huge numbers of Americans to volunteer for military service. In the book
Day of Deceit: The Truth About FDR and Pearl Harbor (2000), Robert Stinnett unveiled a memo outlining an 8 point plan to provoke Japan into attacking the US.…

Another day, another non-denial denial that Bush is planning midnight
preemptive blanket pardons for his entire gang, including himself. In
an article in the New York Times the other day,
current attorney general Mukasey is quoted as asserting it would not be “necessary”.
Please take careful note he did not say it wouldn’t happen, because
unless we speak out now it WILL.
The best shot we have is H.Res. 1531 which puts the administration on
clear notice that there will be strong push back from Congress if
they attempt such a scurrilous stunt.…

An Amendment –
The president shall not have the right to grant pardons or clemency.
“Scoop” Independent News
(Wash. DC) The prospect of the criminal in chief, George W. Bush, issuing pardons to his co-conspirators is repugnant to all citizens who’ve paid any degree of attention over the last eight years.
He neglected his duty prior to 911 resulting in a devastating attack on the nation.…
In a stinging note of support for the laid off workers that have taken up residency in Chicago’s Republic Windows & Doors factory, the Governor of Illinois has suspended business with Bank of America until it reissues credit to the shuttered company.
Bank of America cut off credit to Republic Windows & Doors company last week, and workers, demanding severance pay, began staging sit-ins, effectively taking control of the building.…

The US government
does not have a monopoly on hypocrisy, but no other government can match the
hypocrisy of the US government.
It is now well documented and known all over the world that the US government
tortured detainees at Abu Ghraib and Guantánamo and that the US government has
had people kidnaped and “rendentioned,” that is, transported to
third world countries, such as Egypt, to be tortured.…

Barack Obama is on record as advocating a military escalation in Afghanistan.
Before sinking any deeper into that quagmire, we might do well to learn something
about recent Afghan history and the role played by the United States.
Less than a month after the 11 September 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center
and the Pentagon, US leaders began an all-out aerial assault upon Afghanistan,
the country purportedly harboring Osama bin Laden and his al Qaeda terrorist
On October 27, 2008, WeAreChangeLA’s Jeremy Rothe-Kushel was on hand to cover an event with William Bratton, the Chief of the LAPD. Bratton was at a Townhall LA event at the Omni Hotel in Downtown LA to give a talk entitled “Crime and Your Bottom Line.” Although Bratton was there to focus on the future of the LAPD in relationship to development and crime-prevention, there was still a media buzz humming about an article Bratton had penned a week earlier with ‘terrorism expert’ R.P.…

On Dec. 7, 1941, our country was attacked by Japan. What do our children know of the economic and political reasons for this tragic event?
Robert Stinnet’s book “Day of Deceit. The Truth about FDR and Pearl Harbor” reveals that Franklin Roosevelt not only let the attack on Pearl Harbor happen, but provoked it over a period of 14 months. At the time, the public was only 17 percent in favor of intervention against Germany.…

And everyone understands that staging troops within the U.S. to “help out with civil unrest and crowd control” increases the danger of overt martial law.
But no one is asking an obvious question: Does the government’s own excuse for deploying the troops make any sense?

Before the odor of burned gunpowder has left the air of the Taj Mahal Hotel
in Mumbai, the US is lecturing India not to go off half-cocked and attack Pakistan,
simply because all of the attackers in the terrorist assaults in that city arrived
by boat, apparently from neighboring Pakistan. US officials, including Secretary
of State Condoleezza Rice, are calling on India to engage in a “transparent”
and “thorough” investigation into the attacks to establish who was

The US Department of Defense plans to deploy 20,000 troops nationwide by 2011 to help state and local officials respond to terror or nuclear attacks and emergencies, The Washington Post said Monday.
Citing Pentagon officials, the newspaper said the plan calls for three rapid-reaction forces.
The first 4,700-strong unit, built around an active-duty combat brigade, is based at Fort Stewart, Georgia, and is already available for deployment, according to General Victor Renuart, commander of the US Northern Command, it said.…Continue reading
