Good News for 9/11 Truth in the Austrian airwaves! Austrian national public broadcasting TV station ORF (the equivalent to BBC or German ARD) will be showing the premiere of the German version of "Zero - An Investigation into 9/11" by the Italian member of EU parliament Giulietto Chiesa.

This is indeed good news of a decent amount of courage by journalists working in a public broadcasting station. Unlike the BBC or German ARD, the Austrians seem to have a bit more courage concerning that topic. It will be a German-dubbed version, which will be a TV premiere. The German title: "9/11 - WAS STECKT WIRKLICH DAHINTER?" ("9/11 - What's really behind it?").

Heroes sacrifice it all for the greater good of everyone around them that is at risk, regardless of what they believe is going to happen to them. On September 11th 2001, rescue workers from the New York Fire Department, Police Department and National Guard, amongst many others, put it all on the line. Many were lost.

Many we’re losing now.

“Any nation that does not honor its heroes will not long endure.” –Abraham Lincoln.

Today, thousands of those same rescue workers are being denied health care by the government.

A special on 9/11 has just been shown on the National Geographic Channel, produced by Robert Erickson. Robert also conducted interviews with me and others. In March 2009, Prof. David Ray Griffin and I and Gregg Roberts exchanged emails with Robert Erickson which demonstrate our efforts to get Mr. Erickson and his team to be accurate and fair in their treatment of our scientific work regarding 9/11 – particularly the evidence for the use of explosives in the World Trade Center destruction. For the record, then, I have pulled together our exchanges of emails.

Bags of commercial thermite set against a steel column -- what a pathetic "experiment." Not anywhere close to representing my views, as you must know, from our discussion about the red/gray chips and the crucial distinction between ordinary thermite and super-thermite! What a terrible and unfair straw-man joke you are evidently trying to pull.

Why can't you get a sample of super-thermite? I think you can, if you will actually try. Or are you like NIST which refuses to look?

Tonight we welcome Dr. Frank Legge back to show for an extended discussion on one the most vexed questions about 9/11: what hit the Pentagon?

Dear friends who've just viewed the National Geographic Conspiracy Theory on 9/11,

Thank you for taking time to come here and find our contact information in order to share your thoughts. We ask that if you are interested enough in this issue to write us hate mail because you actually believe the nonsense National Geographic states we "all believe" that you take a few minutes to click on a couple of the links to your left, in the "New to 9/11" section. What you will find is that essentially nothing that producer presented as the "beliefs" of "Truthers" actually reflects the real questions being asked by 9/11 truth advocates, as represented at this website.

This silly attempt to boil down the "Truthers" (what, people who are not actively pursuing answers to 9/11 questions are not in favor of truth? ridiculous...) to a few people who believe there was no plane at the Pentagon and the buildings were brought down by "thermite" is just that -- silly. Since you've come this far, why not have a look at a few of the 40 Questions or the Family Report Card and ask yourself why, after nearly eight long years, family members and other Americans are still wanting for answers to these core questions ... and ask yourselves why you're still not allowed to have those answers. And have a look at the articles on the front page at 911research.com or Journal of 9/11 Studies, and learn what the scientists are actually saying in their recently published peer-reviewed article. (No, it's not "thermite".)

We will attempt to issue a more thorough response within the next few days, particularly highlighting statements from those scientists (physicists, chemists, engineers) interviewed by National Geographic but not represented in the final edit. In the meantime, a brief review of these links will provide you with a much more accurate picture as to why millions of Americans (and our neighbors around the world) are still demanding a full investigation, restoration of our civil liberties, and truth-telling so that finally, accountability and closure will be forthcoming.

After this short effort at due diligence, if you still feel inclined to send us hate mail because you choose to believe the self-serving falsehoods served up by your corporate media, please feel free to do so. Attorney General Eric Holder appointed an independent prosecutor to investigate torture. However, the very limited scope is nowhere near as thorough and broad as the investigation America really needs.

The recent release of the long-secret CIA Inspector General’s report, detailing horrific prisoner abuse, only reinforces the need for a full and thorough, independent investigation of the Bush torture program.

We need to make it clear that, while we’re pleased the Attorney General has launched an independent investigation, the limits he has set don’t meet the demands of justice. Urge Attorney General Holder to conduct a thorough examination of the Bush torture program.

It seems coverage of the Bush administration's "war on terror" has been put back on track by the editors of the Washington Post and their "sources" who are determined to highlight the supposed successes of waterboarding and other forms of torture.

Frankly, I was wondering when this return to form would happen at the Post. I was surprised to see Post journalists recently lose their grip, so to speak, and fall into the practice of reporting real facts -- like the sickening revelations in the long-suppressed CIA Inspector General's report on torture.

Apparently they have now been reminded of the biases of the newspaper's top brass, forever justifying the hardnosed "realism" of the Bush administration as it approved brutal and perverse methods for stripping the "bad guys" of their clothes, their dignity, their sense of self -- all to protect America.

AN AMERICAN citizen is to be named by the Lockerbie bomber as the man who really carried out the terrorist attack on Pan Am Flight 103.

Megrahi's early release from prison on compassionate grounds.

Lawyers for the bomber were to argue that an "elusive" terrorist codenamed Abu Elias planted the bomb in December 1988, causing the deaths of 270 innocent people.

Megrahi is now expected to identify the man behind this alias.

The Scottish Sunday Express tracked this man down to his home in the US, and he strongly denied having anything to do with the atrocity.

However, we can reveal that he has connections to at least two international terrorists and a Palestinian terror group, as well as links to the US intelligence services.

The man, who works as a schools engineer for the US government, was to become the central figure in Megrahi's aborted appeal.

9/11 is a historical event and it has changed the way we live today.

Subsequent to 9/11, the Bush and Blair administrations launched an aggressive War on Terror which we were told would last the rest of our lives. Shortly after, Afghanistan and Iraq were invaded and the blood of millions of innocents has been spilt. Furthermore, the Patriot Act and UK Anti-Terror legislation has eroded our civil liberties with devastating effect. The police state has never been better funded. The mainstream media has sensationalized Islamaphobia and Muslims are subject to countless unnecessary stops, searches, raids, arrests and harrassements. The War on Terror is a War OF Terror.

This makes it all the more concerning when we discover that many western intelligence agencies had foreknowledge of the attacks and failed abysmally to prevent them. Furthermore, the 9/11 Commission Report and subsequent NIST reports are inconsistent with records of the day and even contradictory in themselves. Scientists have since released a peer reviewed paper on evidence of Nano-Thermate in the rubble of ground zero and have repeatedly requested the computer model from NIST which describes how the towers fell and which was never peer reviewed in accordance with the scientific standards. There are also over 750 architects and engineers who dismiss the official government reports, citing evidence that the WTC buildings 1, 2 and 7 were bought down by controlled demolition.

8 years after the attacks, we still have serious questions which the establishment and corporate media have failed to answer.

Ed has been an ardent supporter of numerous social justice causes for decades and he is a current supporter of 911 Truth. He has been a prominent member of the Democratic Socialists of America and has served two terms as president of the Screen Actors Guild, in which capacity he opposed the US policy in Central America. He also played a prominent role in the 1980 SAG strike. He has been active in a variety of other causes, such as the movement to free Mumia Abu-Jamal and in Racism Watch and has consistently served and committed himself to the rights of the working performer in addition to advocating for human rights, world peace, environmental preservation and political freedom. Those who are interested in issues like widespread corruption of our elected officals by foreigners have no doubt followed the ex-FBI traslator turned whistle blower Sibel Edmonds saga for the past few years. Sibel has finally testified in court under oath about some of the things that she learned while working for the bureau. The testimony was in a court in Ohio about two weeks ago. In short, she names a number of Congressmen including former Speaker Dennis Hastert who took money from Turkish lobbyists. She also identifies senior State Department and Pentagon officials who apparently did the same, including our friends Marc Grossman, Paul Wolfowitz, and Doug Feith. Interestingly, she claims that Grossman blew the cover of Valerie Plame’s company Brewster Jennings back in 2001, causing CIA to shut it down, so Robert Novak was not guilty of exposing the CIA cover mechanism. In another interview given a few weeks ago, Edmonds claims that CIA was working closely with al-Qaeda in the Balkans and continued to do so until 9/11.

As I have reported before, Edmonds is a credible witness who is ignored by the mainstream media and congress because her tales, if true, would be devastating to both political parties and to the Israel and Turkish lobbies. She is dismissed as a crackpot. She might in fact be blowing smoke, but now that she has testified under oath and in considerable detail making very specific accusations isn’t it time for someone in the administration to review the FBI files and stand up to say whether her accounts are true or not? Corruption in the US government is something that no one wants to talk about, particularly if powerful foreign interests are involved.
