Ever since Scripps Howard released poll findings last week that 36% of Americans believe it is at least somewhat likely that the federal government was involved in or took no action to prevent the attacks of September 11th, FOX news talking heads have been ridiculing and dismissing the possibility. On the other hand, they have yet to cause such a kerfuffle over the equally remarkable poll finding that the number of Americans who believe WMDs were found in Iraq has risen to 50%.…Continue reading
5 Years Later, Sept. 11 Conspiracy Theorists Say They’re Gaining Momentum
By Justin Pope
The Associated Press
– Kevin Barrett believes the U.S government might have destroyed the World Trade Center. Steven Jones is researching what he calls evidence that the twin towers were brought down by explosives detonated inside them, not by hijacked airliners.
These men aren’t uneducated junk scientists: Barrett will teach a class on Islam at the University of Wisconsin this fall, over the protests of more than 60 state legislators.…
50% Still Think Saddam had WMD
By Charles J. Hanley, AP
Chicago Sun Times

Do you believe in Iraqi “WMD”?
Did Saddam Hussein’s government have weapons of mass destruction in 2003?
Half of America apparently still thinks so, a new poll finds, and experts see a raft of reasons why: a drumbeat of voices from talk radio to the Oval Office, a surprise headline here or there, a rallying around a partisan flag.…Continue reading
New Tapes Disclose Confusion Within the Military on Sept. 11
By Philip Shenon
New York Times
August 2, 2006
WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 — Newly disclosed tapes offer evidence of the widespread confusion within the military as the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks were being carried out, further undermining claims by the Pentagon that it moved quickly to try to intercept and shoot down one or more of the hijacked jets.
When matched with the timeline of the attacks, the tapes make clear that information about the hijackings was slow to reach the military on Sept.…Continue reading

More than a third of the American public suspects that federal officials assisted in the 9/11 terrorist attacks or took no action to stop them so the United States could go to war in the Middle East, according to a new Scripps Howard/Ohio University poll.
The national survey of 1,010 adults also found that anger against the federal government is at record levels, with 54 percent saying they “personally are more angry” at the government than they used to be.…Continue reading

MADISON, Wis., July 26 ? Sipping on a bottle of water and holding a book about the history and future of Islam, Kevin Barrett ticked off a few examples of what he saw as evidence that the Sept. 11 attacks had been an “inside job.”
As children zoomed by on tricycles and shot basketballs at a community center near his home, Mr.…Continue reading
Controversial Instructor Speaks About His 9/11 Views, UW Course
Kevin Barrett Appears On ‘For The Record’
By Adam Malecek, Staff Writer
MADISON, Wis. — Controversial University of Wisconsin-Madison lecturer Kevin Barrett appeared on WISC-TV’s “For The Record,” discussing his views on the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, Islamic studies and the class he is teaching this fall at UW-Madison.
Recently, 61 state legislators signed a resolution calling for UW-Madison to fire Barrett over his outspoken views that the U.S.…
Daniel Ellsberg is a former American military analyst employed by the RAND Corporation who precipitated a national firestorm in 1971 when he released the Pentagon Papers, the US military’s account of activities during the Vietnam War, to The New York Times. The release awakened the American people to a systematic program of organized deception carried out by the Pentagon against the population to continue the Vietnam War.
Daniel Ellsberg, speaking on air to GCN radio host Jack Blood, stated his concerns that criminal elements of the US government were psychologically capable to have carried out 9/11.…
‘9/11 Truth’ Movement: Just Weird to Completely Insane
by Paul C. Campos

Instructive look into the recently 9/11-jostled mind of a bright but clueless liberal facing the wild Internet bazaar of “9/11 truths”. His logical revulsion at holograms, satanists, passenger consolidation, etc. is expected and reasonable, and he does seem to want to sort hypotheses in a somewhat rational way (at least one that coincides with his own timid preconceptions and doesn’t require any tedious research to sustain).

IT FEELS A BIT like entering a porn site. Forbidden, exciting, something for socially misfit gloaters. So I enter www.911truth.org with the brakes on, ready to back off in shame and with a giggle. What makes me hesitate to enter the homepage of USA’s biggest organization of 9/11 skeptics is the lustful concept of ?conspiracy theory?. For is it not just the high and stoned and very alternative who can bring themselves to believe something else than the official story of September 11?…Continue reading

9/11 THEORIES FLOURISH
by Kristin Solberg
– All the lies from the Bush administration is the main reason for all the conspiracy theories , says NRK-veteran Jahn Otto Johansen.
One of the most debated; why did WTC 7 collapse?
– This is not something that just could have happened, there are too many incidents. You can’t even conclude that the administration let it happen, you have to conclude they made it happen , says Michael Berger.…Continue reading

9/11TRUTH: More and more people in the USA are convinced that the American authorities are concealing their involvement in the September 11th tragedy. Statements from witnesses, marked confidential for several years, now show that controlled demolition may have taken place. The US government had long anticipated such an incident – as the Republican document from 2000 Rebuilding America’s defenses indicates.…
