On the 40th anniversary of Robert F. Kennedy’s assassination on June 5, 1968
and death on June 6th, National Geographic has produced a powerful new documentary,
CIA Secret Experiments. This riveting video reveals astonishing new facts on
the assassination at minutes 28 to 37. Numerous facts in the film suggest that
RFK may actually have been killed by a manchurian candidate programmed to commit
the murder under the influence of hypnotic mind control.
The RFK assassination is only one section of what is one of the best documentaries
exposing top secret government mind control programs. To view a five-minute
trailer of this disturbing, yet incredibly important video visit the first link

“It’s the height of the Cold War and the United States government is
desperate to combat the spread of Communism. The CIA launches a highly classified,
top secret research program into the covert use of biological and chemical

are contaminated with bacteria, exposing millions of Americans to germ warfare.
But the real focus of the research is on mastering the art of mind

Amy Goodman made note of the 40th anniversary of the assassination of RFK today
with a tribute that included a useful history of the life and times of RFK,
but Goodman also parroted the establishment line that Sirhan Sirhan killed RFK.
Following this statement, Goodman played a segment of an interview with Sirhan’s
brother, Munir. During the segment, Munir notes that Sirhan has no memory of
what happened that night at the Ambassador Hotel, and never has been able to
remember what happened that night. Goodman then talked to John Pilger on the
telephone, and Pilger made the stunning admission that not only was he there
that night 40 years ago, he heard multiple shots, says that the shots kept coming
even after Sirhan had been wrestled to the ground, and he told this to the FBI.
Something tells me that Pilger would strongly agree with the recently released
JOHN PILGER: … Sirhan leapt up on a serving area, pointed a gun at him and
fired. He was wrestled. Kennedy fell. He was wrestled to the ground, and then
there were other shots.
There’s no question that there was another gunman, because one of the
people who was hit, just grazed, was standing next to me, and that happened
when Sirhan Sirhan had been wrestled to the ground. So that’s the interesting
thing. There was another assassin or another several assassins. And then it
was bedlam. And as you know,… Continue reading

The Deep State and 9/11
The unthinkable — that elements inside the state would conspire with criminals to kill innocent civilians — has become not only thinkable but commonplace in the last century. A seminal example was in French Algeria, where dissident elements of the French armed forces, resisting General de Gaulle’s plans for Algerian independence, organized as the Secret Army Organization and bombed civilians indiscriminately, with targets including hospitals and schools. 1 Critics like Alexander Litvinenko, who was subsequently murdered in London in November 2006, have charged that the 1999 bombings of apartment buildings around Moscow, attributed to Chechen separatists, were in fact the work of the Russian secret service (FSB). 2
Similar attacks in Turkey have given rise to the notion there of an extra-legal “deep state” — a combination of forces, ranging from former members of the CIA-organized Gladio organization, to “a vast matrix of security and intelligence officials, ultranationalist members of the Turkish underworld and renegade former members of the [Kurdish separatist] PKK.” 3 The deep state, financed in part by Turkey’s substantial heroin traffic, has been accused of killing thousands of civilians, in incidents such as the lethal bomb attack in November 2005 on a bookshop in Semdinli. This attack, initially attributed to the Kurdish separatist PKK, turned out to have been committed by members of Turkey’s paramilitary police intelligence service, together with a former PKK member turned informer. 4 On April 23, 2008, the former Interior Minister Mehmet Agar was ordered… Continue reading

Someone has just brought to my attention a possible interpretation of this statement different than what I had come to, so in the spirit of accurate reporting and non-sensationalism, I am adding this for your consideration. As always, we hope you carefully interpret all information coming to you, no matter what the source, (including ours, of course). My interpretation of these comments was that Stone was simply making the case (the crux of the case) that Hamdan knew the target, therefore Hamdan must have been a party to the attack. I had not considered that Stone may have been (supposedly) quoting Hamdan fully, and that Hamdan may have been the one reported as having said, “If they hadn’t shot it down…,” not Stone. Nonetheless, it seems quite odd that the US prosecution, led by military officers, would have made any reference to Flight 93 having been shot down… [End of update.]
A couple key points here from the Gitmo show trials not really being shown:
1) Defense attorney for bin Laden’s driver, Salim Hamdan, stated: “There will be no evidence that Mr. Hamdan espoused or believed or embraced any form of what you will hear about, radical Islam beliefs, extremist Muslim beliefs.” Where have we heard that before? A little like Atta and friends drinking Dewars scotch, paying for lap dances, partying it up… fundamentalist Muslims who hate Americans’ ‘freedoms’? I think not…… Continue reading
One of the most active projects this week is the newly-established Iran-Contra Timeline, where there is more about kidnappings by Iranian-backed terrorists, missile shipments to Iran, and money movements to the Contras. You can also find out about CIA Director William Casey’s illness, attorney general Ed Meese’s investigatory prowess, and Ronald Reagan’s coherence.
Due to the increasing amount of material about the anthrax attacks, a dedicated timeline has been set up to cover this, and it will have separate categories, including ones for suspects Ayaad Assaad, Steven Hatfill, and Bruce Ivins. Newly added entries cover Ivins’ drinking, the letter implicating Assaad–just a coincidence according to the FBI–and an unpublished novel Hatfill wrote about a false-flag bio-terror attack.
The 9/11 timeline yet more about 9/11 Commission executive director Philip Zelikow, who assumed control of a key commission team, tried to prevent staff members talking to commissioners, and appointed a CIA officer to lead the investigation of the CIA.
Material has been added to the A. Q. Khan nuclear smuggling ring timeline covering lenient sentences handed down to Khan associates and western knowledge of his network.
Finally, the Decision to Invade Iraq Timeline has a couple more entries about Republican presidential candidate John McCain and his war cheerleading.
In addition to the entries being posted, we are still working on the site redesign, and donations of all amounts will be of great assistance:

It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.
–Alice, from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
We’re hurtling down the rabbit hole. Gravity’s refuted. Black is white, and white turns bitter, transfigured by a mawkish Mad Hatter blithely chewing up our Constitution, juggling missile-shaped teacups, splashing sweet, light crude and cold blood everywhere. To anyone who’s passed through the last eight years believing whatever George W. Bush and his minions have blown their way, well, best of luck to you, because most of it hasn’t been true.
Does that mean, then, that W. and his cronies were behind the 9-11 attacks? Of course not. Some say, however, if it looks, waddles and quacks like a duck and lays duck eggs, then perhaps it’s time we re-examine it under oath, because it just might be a friggin’ duck. (Fact: Nixon White House audiotapes reveal Tricky Dick literally quacking like a duck. Nixon was a lot of things, but ducky wasn’t one of them.)
We’re all mad here.

Ten months before the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Secretary of Defense
Donald Rumsfeld approved an updated version of the U.S. Army’s secret operational
Continuity of Government (COG) plans.
A draft document
published by the whistleblowing website Wikileaks
entitled, “Army Regulation 500-3, Emergency Employment of Army and Other Resources.
Army Continuity of Operations (COOP) Program,” dated 19 January 2001, spells
out changes in Army doctrine.
Issued by Headquarters, Department of the Army and signed off by Secretary of
Defense Donald Rumsfeld and the Secretary of the Army, the document is affixed
with a warning: “Destruction Notice: Destroy by any method that will prevent
disclosure of contents or reconstruction of the document.” The restricted document
as published by Wikileaks states:
History. This regulation is a revision of the original
regulation that was effective on 10 July 1989. Since that time, no changes
have been published to amend the original.
Summary. This regulation on the Army
Continuity of Operations (COOP) Program has been revised to update Army COOP
policy and extend the requirement for all-hazards COOP planning to all Army
organizations. Classified information contained in the 1989 version of this
AR has been removed and placed in a classified HQDA Operations Plan (OPLAN).
Applicability. This regulation applies
to the Active Army, the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR), and
when federalized to the Army National Guard (ARNG). In the event of
conflict between this regulation and approved OSD or JCS publications, the
provisions of the latter will… Continue reading

For over two years now I have been speaking and writing about what I call deep events. I mean by deep events the traumatic and unexpected episodes that recur periodically in US history and alter it, nearly always for the worse. These deep events can never be properly analyzed or understood, because of an intelligence dimension which results in a socially imposed veil of silence, both in the government and in the Mainstream Media.
The more that I look at these deep events comparatively, ranging over the past five decades, the more similarities I see between them, and the more I understand them in the light of each other. I hope in this paper to use analogies from the murder of JFK and 9/11 to cast new light on the murders of Martin Luther King and Robert F. Kennedy.1
I began this analysis in 2006 by comparing the JFK assassination with 9/11. I drew attention to over a dozen similarities, of which today I will be focusing on only four:
1) the remarkable and puzzling speed with which those in power identified what I call the designated culprits (Lee Harvey Oswald and the 19 alleged hijackers),
2) the self-incriminating trail allegedly left by the culprits themselves — such as the bundle that James Earl Ray is said to have conveniently left in a doorway on his way to his car. Oswald was said to have carried a flagrantly falsified draft card identifying… Continue reading

In 1996, directors Chris Hilton and David Roberts released “An Unholy Alliance” as the second part of a trilogy of documentaries dealing with the global drug trade; with a focus on heroin and opium. The documentary offers a valuable history of the drug trade, with much rare footage, including footage of CIA favorite, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar. Since Hekmatyar is back in the news, now is an important time to remind people of Hekmatyar’s dubious past, and his links to the heroin industry in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The CIA and the Afghan Arabs
An Unholy Alliance starts off in Peshawar, which was a major hub of activity for the CIA and the ISI, as they deployed the Afghan Mujahadin in a proxy war against the Soviet Union, beginning in 1979. Since the 1980s, CIA apologists like Peter Bergen, and former CIA station chief Milton Bearden have claimed that the CIA never directly trained the Mujahidin and the associated Arabic recruits;
Peter Bergen: “While the charges that the CIA was responsible for the rise of the Afghan Arabs might make good copy, they don’t make good history. The truth is more complicated, tinged with varying shades of gray. The… Continue reading

For the past eight years, American culture has seen an outburst of media-driven mythmaking. Corporate mainstream media organizations, the pundits they sponsor, and politicians from both major parties have formed a new contextual chorus singing the same refrain: “On September 11th, 2001, everything changed.” From cable TV to AM radio, from the blogosphere to the town-hall meeting, Americans repeatedly hear that “this is a post-9/11 world.”
Although there is some truth to this platitude of pivotal change, independently minded citizens may also wonder whether such mass media messages have become self-fulfilling prophecies. This provides an interesting point of debate about what has or has not changed in America since 9/11.
This chapter concerns itself with the ongoing phenomena of media mythmaking and how, like many Americans surmised just after 9/11, everything has not changed. 1 Corporate mainstream media have resurrected powerful myths from America’s past to shape public perception in the present. Through the prism of 9/11, one can see how the corporate mass media are in fact doing more mythmaking than news reporting. Here, the authors will examine central historic American myths the corporate media and even much of the alternative independent media have extended into the… Continue reading

What’s the difference between murder and massacre?
The answer is Terry Halbardier, whose bravery and ingenuity as a 23-year-old Navy seaman spelled the difference between the murder of 34 of the USS Liberty crew and the intended massacre of all 294.
The date was June 8, 1967; and for the families of the 34 murdered and for the Liberty’s survivors and their families, it is a “date which will live in infamy” — like the date of an earlier surprise attack on the U.S. Navy.
The infamy is two-fold: (1) the Liberty, a virtually defenseless intelligence collection platform prominently flying an American flag in international waters, came under deliberate attack by Israeli aircraft and three 60-ton Israeli torpedo boats off the coast of the Sinai on a cloudless June afternoon during the six-day Israeli-Arab war; and (2) President Lyndon Johnson called back carrier aircraft dispatched to defend the Liberty lest Israel be embarrassed — the start of an unconscionable cover-up, including top Navy brass, that persists to this day.
Given all they have been through, the Liberty survivors and other veterans — who joined Halbardier to celebrate his belated receipt of the Silver Star — can be forgiven for having doubted that this day would ever come.
In the award ceremony at the Visalia (California) office of Rep. Devin Nunes, the Republican congressman pinned the Silver Star next to the Purple Heart that Halbardier found in his home mailbox three years ago.
Nunes said, “The government… Continue reading

Official government documents reveal new side of defense secretary’s legacy
Robert S. McNamara, Secretary of Defense from 1961 to 1967, took many secrets with him when he died Monday at 93. But probably no secret was more sensitive politically than the one that would have changed fundamentally the public perception of his role in Vietnam policy had it been become widely known.
The secret was his deliberate deceit of President Lyndon B. Johnson on Aug. 4, 1964 regarding the alleged attack on US warships in the Gulf of Tonkin.
Documents which have been available for decades in the LBJ Library show clearly that McNamara failed to inform Johnson that the U.S. naval task group commander in the Tonkin Gulf, Captain John J. Herrick, had changed his mind about the alleged North Vietnamese torpedo attack on U.S. warships he had reported earlier that day.
By early afternoon Washington time, Herrick had reported to the Commander in Chief Pacific in Honolulu that “freak weather effects” on the ship’s radar had made such an attack questionable. In fact, Herrick was now saying, in a message sent at 1:27 pm Washington time, that no North Vietnamese patrol boats had actually been sighted. Herrick now proposed a “complete evaluation before any further action taken.”
These documents were reviewed by this reporter in researching my book, Perils of Dominance: Imbalance of Power and the Road to War in Vietnam.
McNamara later testified that he had read the message… Continue reading
