Anthrax News Review
Dear Readers, For several days I've been trying to find or write a decent "summary" article about this whole anthrax debacle. I give up. The FBI says this, Daschle says that, Ivins' friends say this, his "theripist" says that... Many of us have followed this mess for years now, and as with the events of 9/11, the pile just gets deeper and deeper. As we say in my neck of the woods, "Better git yer hipwaders out for this one 'cause it's gittin deep in here!" Of course, we all still want an answer as to why now-infamous Jerome Hauer advised the White House to begin Cipro (the antibiotic specifically prescribed to counter anthrax infection) on 9/11, albeit the anthrax attacks didn't begin until September 18th ... I still don't see any media asking that question, even now that the FBI has suddenly decided to spill the beans about the whole mess. I think the best summary, at this point, may be this: A whole lot of people are lying about a whole lot of things--and as usual, a few courageous individuals are trying hard to tell the truth but being largely ignored! However, I have found three excellent sources on this matter to which I am
now turning for information and thus refer you for consideration: And I think this following little summary sets just the right tone to end this day! As Dr. Nass says, "See what power reporting has?" 911truth.org applauds all of you who have also become the media. Indeed, we are the ones we've been waiting for. – Ed.
Tuesday, August 5, 2008, from Meryl Nass, anthraxvaccine.blogspot.com/ The bloggers deserve a lot of credit for transforming the Ivins reportage, via impressive investigations and and logical thinking. Their work may have turned this case from one of conviction by innuendo -- into one that will receive a fairer hearing, and has even elicited an apology by FBI for the pathetic and improper leaks over the past 5 days. TIME reporters Amanda Ripley and Massimo Calabresi deserve kudos for telling it like it is:
And CBS has it right, based on the leaky information so far available:
So, the FBI caved, at least for today:
I'm going to sleep better tonight. And look forward to reviewing the evidence tomorrow. Source URL: http://anthraxvaccine.blogspot.com/2008/08/fbi-apologizes-cbs-news.html
