Senator Mike Gravel Calls for New Investigation of 9/11, Supports NYC 9/11 Ballot Initiative
(New York, NY, June 13, 2008) — On Tuesday, June 17th at 5pm, at Union Square in New York City, former Senator Mike Gravel, speaking on behalf of the NYC 9/11 Ballot Initiative Campaign, will call for a new and far reaching investigation of the crimes of 9/11. This comes in the wake of several developments which underscore the need for a truly independent, thorough, fact-driven investigation into the events of 9/11. Consider the recent book by NY Times veteran reporter Philip Shenon titled ?The Commission: The Uncensored History of the 9/11 Investigation? which highlighted the conflicts of interest of Executive Director Philip Zelikow. Consider the book by Tom Kean and Lee Hamilton titled ?Unprecedented? in which they stated they were “doomed to fail from the start” and they were lied to by NORAD regarding our absence of air defense. Consider the Articles of Impeachment nos. 33-35 by Dennis Kucinich which list hard evidence showing dereliction of duty, obstruction of justice, and malfeasance by the Bush administration. Consider the revelation of the destruction in 2004 of CIA tape recordings of suspects in Guantánamo Bay which were requested by the 9/11 Commission. Consider that Arizona Congresswoman Karen Johnson, who has called attention to the research of physics professor Steven… Continue reading
On June 10th 2008, Libby Davies, an NDP MP from East Vancouver read our petition
(for 9/11 investigation) in Canadian Parliament. Now the petition will be sent
to the appropriate minister and they have 45 days to respond.
By DREW NOFTLE
June 13, 2008
Vancouver BC – Rob Duffy, Assistant to Canadian MP Libby Davies, has informed
the Vancouver 9/11 Truth Society that the petition read in Canadian Parliament
last Tuesday regarding the demand for a Canadian Investigation into 9/11 will
be handled by none other than Canadian Minister of Public Safety, Stockwell
Although such a document should likely be placed on the desk of the Minister
of Foreign Affairs, perhaps some insight was used when the decision was made
to forward this homework assignment to Mr. Day instead.
When we look at the credentials of Mr. Day we can see why this decision was
made. Indeed, we see that no other Minister should have such a grand understanding
of 9/11 than him. Mr. Day understands intelligence. He is a former CSIS agent
himself. CSIS showed Canada it’s impressive counter terrorist abilities by uncovering
the Air India Bombing plot in 1985 well before it happened. Unfortunately, they
failed to pass this information on to the RCMP (he has worked there too) before
it was too late.
Mr. Day is also a former evangelical pastor. Therefore, he knows the need for
us to all prepare now for the rapture and how a war with Iran will expedite
its arrival.… Continue reading

The Deep State and 9/11
The unthinkable — that elements inside the state would conspire with criminals to kill innocent civilians — has become not only thinkable but commonplace in the last century. A seminal example was in French Algeria, where dissident elements of the French armed forces, resisting General de Gaulle’s plans for Algerian independence, organized as the Secret Army Organization and bombed civilians indiscriminately, with targets including hospitals and schools. 1 Critics like Alexander Litvinenko, who was subsequently murdered in London in November 2006, have charged that the 1999 bombings of apartment buildings around Moscow, attributed to Chechen separatists, were in fact the work of the Russian secret service (FSB). 2
Similar attacks in Turkey have given rise to the notion there of an extra-legal “deep state” — a combination of forces, ranging from former members of the CIA-organized Gladio organization, to “a vast matrix of security and intelligence officials, ultranationalist members of the Turkish underworld and renegade former members of the [Kurdish separatist] PKK.” 3 The deep state, financed in part by Turkey’s substantial heroin traffic, has been accused of killing thousands of civilians, in incidents such as the lethal bomb attack in November 2005 on a bookshop in Semdinli. This attack, initially attributed to the Kurdish separatist PKK, turned out to have been committed by members of Turkey’s paramilitary police intelligence service, together with a former PKK member turned informer. 4 On April 23, 2008, the former Interior Minister Mehmet Agar was ordered… Continue reading

Today is a historic victory for the rule of law. We won! For the third time,
the Supreme Court has upheld the fundamental rights of Guantánamo detainees.
In its historic decision in CCR’s case, Boumediene v. Bush, the Court affirmed
detainees’ right to habeas corpus. One of the oldest and most basic legal protections,
habeas corpus affords the incarcerated the right to challenge the legality of
their detention before a judge and keeps the king and president from arbitrarily
locking people up and throwing away the key.
We’re asking you to take action in two important ways: please make a contribution
to CCR today so we can continue this important work, and please write to the
presidential candidates to demand that they uphold the Supreme Court’s decision.
The Administration has delayed, ignored and sought to evade two prior Supreme
Court decisions, Rasul v. Bush in 2004 and Hamdan v. Rumsfeld in 2006, both
of which upheld the rights of Guantánamo detainees.
This decision was, in many ways, made possible by the support of so many –
the over 500 volunteer habeas counsel who have committed themselves to defending
the rights of Guantánamo’s detainees, the thousands upon thousands who have
acted to demand that the Constitution be upheld, and all of our supporters,
who have made this work possible. Today, your support is urgently needed, now
more than ever, to ensure that the Supreme Court’s decision is implemented and
the Constitution restored.

The Spy Who Loves Us
Pay no mind to the Mossad agent on the line.
by Philip Giraldi
June 2, 2008 Issue, The American Conservative
After Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard was sentenced to life in prison in 1986, the U.S. negotiated an understanding with Israel—a “gentlemen’s agreement” —stipulating that neither nation would thenceforth conduct espionage operations in the other’s territory without consent. But the agreement was a sham from the beginning. The Israeli government didn’t even honor its commitments in the aftermath of the Pollard case, failing to return the estimated 360 cubic feet of stolen information to enable the U.S. to conduct a damage assessment. The United States, for its part, continued to recruit and run agents inside Israel throughout the 1980s and 1990s. And it was known within the intelligence and counterintelligence communities that Israel did the same in the United States. David Szady, the FBI’s assistant director for counterintelligence, was so dismayed by the level of Israeli spying in the late ’90s that he called in the head of the Israeli Embassy’s Central Institute for Intelligence and Special Activities (Mossad) office and told him, “Knock it off.”
Pollard’s name was in the news again on April 22, when former U.S. Army weapons engineer Ben-Ami Kadish was arrested for passing secrets to Israel. Kadish had been an agent run by Yosef Yagur, who directed Pollard. Yagur, under cover as a science attaché at the Israeli Consulate General in New York, fled the U.S. in 1985 after Pollard was… Continue reading

The George W. Bush administration responded to the 9/11 attack on the World
Trade Center and Pentagon with an assault on U.S. civil liberty that Bush justified
in the name of the “war on terror.” The government assured us that
the draconian measures apply only to “terrorists.” The word terrorist,
however, was not defined. The government claimed the discretionary power to
decide who is a terrorist without having to present evidence or charges in a
court of law.
Frankly, the Bush administration’s policy evades any notion of procedural
due process of law. Administration assurances that harsh treatment is reserved
only for terrorists is meaningless when the threshold process for determining
who is and who is not a terrorist depends on executive discretion that is not
subject to review. Substantive rights are useless without the procedural rights
to enforce them.
Terrorist legislation and executive assertions created a basis upon which federal
authorities claimed they were free to suspend suspects’ civil liberties
in order to defend Americans from terrorism. Only after civil liberties groups
and federal courts challenged some of the unconstitutional laws and procedures
did realization spread that the Bush administration’s assault on the Bill
of Rights is a greater threat to Americans than are terrorists.
The alacrity with which Congress accepted the initial assault from the administration
is frightening. In 2001, the USA PATRIOT Act passed by a vote of 98 to 1 in

“…in particular, I would like to introduce to you a very courageous
man named Blair Gadsby. I’m going to ask the folks with Blair to help him stand,
as I tell you just a little bit about him. Blair is very weak, because he has
been fasting for more than two weeks to try to bring attention to the cause
of 9/11 Truth. This is the 16th day that Blair has gone without food, and spent
his day outside the office of U.S. Senator John McCain, pleading with the Senator
to take a look at new evidence of the 9/11 crimes.
We have one man here, who is sacrificing his own personal needs and desires,
to stand boldly, pleading for the world to take notice, to question, to research,
and not place their lives in the hands of media sound bites. To think for themselves,
consciously and critically.
Blair is an educator, and to me this is what great educators do. Thousands
of people all over the country, and actually, around the world have been watching
on the internet as this hunger strike progresses here in Phoenix. I want Blair
to know that I am one of his biggest fans, and that good people everywhere admire
him for his courage and determination.
Please give a warm welcome to Blair Gadsby and the 9/11 Truth movement.”

For those who do not yet understand that Bush and Cheney have committed impeachable
offenses with regard to 9/11, I will provide information to back up the relevant
sections of Dennis Kucinich’s articles of impeachment against President Bush which deal with 9/11:
Article 2: Falsely, Systematically, and with Criminal Intent
Conflating the Attacks of September 11, 2001, With Misrepresentation of Iraq as
a Security Threat as Part of Fraudulent Justification for a War of Aggression:
Article 33: Repeatedly ignored and failed to respond to high
level intelligence warnings of planned terrorist attacks in U.S. prior to 9/11:
Article 34: Obstruction into the investigation of 9/11:
Article 35: Endangering the health of 9/11 first responders:
Of course, Cheney is even more vulnerable to impeachment for 9/11 than Bush, as he was in charge of national defenses and war games on 9/11,
watched Flight 77 from many miles out as it approached the Pentagon and let it hit, and is otherwise implicated in the deaths which occurred on
that horrible day.
America must take action to support and push forward the courageous actions
of this very small group of Representatives. American Freedom Campaign has issued
the following action alert.
Last night, on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Dennis
Kucinich (D-OH) introduced 35 articles of impeachment against President George

Dr. William Pepper on James Earl Ray’s Innocence, Sirhan Sirhan’s Innocence, 9/11 Truth and Prosecuting War Crimes
Dr. William F. Pepper is an internationally acclaimed lawyer who defended James Earl Ray in a 1999 civil trial (supported by Martin Luther King’s family) where the jury found Ray not responsible for the MLK assassination. Now Pepper is defending Sirhan Sirhan for the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy, a case he says is ‘an easier one than the assassination of Martin King and the innocence of James Earl Ray’.
Last Wednesday Pepper spoke about all of his projects, including 9/11 truth and prosecuting the Bush administration for war crimes, to a packed celebrity filled house in Los Angeles. Among those in attendance were Ed Asner, Gina Belafonte, Judd Nelson and 9/11 author Professor David Ray Griffin. Videos of his talk follow …
Part 1 (6:21) – Introduction
In Part 1 Pepper talks about his background, childhood and motivation. He also speaks about the time he spent in Cuba playing baseball where he got to know Fidel Castro. According to Pepper, Castro foresaw much of what is happening in the United States today:
‘When, in that massive country to the north, the masses of the people ever understand what it is that their ruling class has done to them and is doing to them, there will be such a torrent of opposition. They will rise like never before and then there will be the… Continue reading

In January of 1981, Rowley was appointed a Special Agent with the FBI and initially served in the Omaha, Nebraska and Jackson, Mississippi Divisions. In 1984 she was assigned to the New York Office and for over 6 years worked on Italian organized crime and Sicilian heroin drug investigations. During this time Rowley also served three separate temporary duty assignments in the Paris, France Embassy and Montreal Consulate.
In 1990 Rowley was transferred to Minneapolis where she assumed the duties of Principal Legal Advisor (now known as “Chief Division Counsel”) which entailed oversight of the Freedom of Information, Forfeiture, Victim-Witness and Community Outreach Programs as well as providing regular legal and ethics training to FBI Agents of the Division and some outside police training.

A VIDEO EXCLUSIVE from Hot Potato Mash:
Professor David Ray Griffin, who is one of the leading voices in the 9/11 Truth
Movement, spoke to a capacity crowd in Los Angeles on Wednesday, June 4, 2008.
Below is Griffin’s talk – covering mostly new evidence about 9/11 – divided
into three parts…
Part 1 (9:32)
“If we do get a real investigation or a trial there is simply no doubt
of what the verdict will be because now the evidence that 9/11 is an inside
job is now overwhelming.” – David Ray Griffin
In Part 1 Professor Griffin begins with inconsistencies between the statements
made by Ted Olsen (Solicitor General of the United States) about his wife Barbara
Olsen’s cell phone calls from Flight 77 and that of the FBI. Additionally, Griffin
talks about the impossibility of using cell phones at high altitudes.
The last half of Part 1 is spent discussing the odd and unlikely behavior of
Mohammed Atta and the inconsistencies in the government’s story about Atta.
Part 2 (9:16)
Topics covered include why the Pentagon wasn’t evacuated? The faulty timeline
of Michael Hess and Barry Jennings in WTC Building 7 and Rudy Giuliani telling
Peter Jennings that the World Trade Center was going to collapse.
Part 3 (5:26)
“I’m fearful that many people will say, ‘okay, the criminals are out of
office now and so let’s not work on [9/11]‘. But the more hopeful possibility
is people will say, ‘now there may be… Continue reading

Senator Karen Johnson Blasts Congress for Failure to Defend U.S.
In a formal Floor speech in the Arizona Senate tomorrow (Tuesday, June 10),
Senator Karen S. Johnson plans to blast Congress for their failure to defend
U.S. citizens who were killed on September 11, 2001, and their failure to properly
investigate those attacks.
“It has been nearly seven years,” says Johnson, “and we are
faced with new evidence that turns the conclusions of the 9/11 Commission upside
down. We are fighting a war because of 9/11 – and we still don’t
really know what happened. We have spent billions of dollars on the war, with
an additional $340 million per day. Thousands of U.S. servicemen and women have
lost their lives, not to mention the lives of innocent Iraqi and Afghan civilians.”
Johnson revealed in a committee hearing in April that she did not accept the
official report of the 9/11 Commission and has since defended supporters calling
for a new independent investigation of the attacks on the World Trade Center
and the Pentagon. “Ground Zero was treated like little more than the site
of a building demolition – which, of course, is exactly what it was,”
says Johnson. “Everyone who has studied it recognizes that the Twin Towers
and Building 7 came down as a result of controlled explosions – not because
of the airplanes and fires.”
Johnson has joined forces with local 9/11 activists who for more than two… Continue reading

EPA MISDEEDS ON TRIAL IN OMBUDSMAN WHISTLEBLOWER HEARING
Witnesses Detail 9/11 Contamination, Toxic Fertilizer and Litany of Other
Washington, DC — In a long-awaited whistleblower trial beginning today,
the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will have to justify dismantling its
only independent public advocate. The National Ombudsman Office was closed early
in the Bush administration as it pursued an array of EPA scandals, including
its failure to issue health warnings after the World Trade Center collapse,
use of toxic sewage sludge in widely distributed fertilizer and malfeasance
at several Superfund cleanups across the nation, according to documents posted
by Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER).
The complaint by Hugh B. Kaufman, who served as the Chief Investigator for
the National Ombudsman Office from 1997 until its demise in 2002, charges violation
of whistleblower anti-retaliation provisions of the very federal environmental
laws that EPA is supposed to enforce. The hearing will feature witnesses harmed
by agency misdeeds who had sought help from the Ombudsman Office.
After an initial investigation, the U.S. Labor Department ruled in Mr. Kaufman’s
favor and found EPA’s removing his duties was in reprisal for his performing
a “too effective job”. Then-EPA Administrator Christie Todd Whitman
personally pulled the plug on the Ombudsman Office and was “committed
to not putting Kaufman back”, according to one e-mail exhibit.
EPA appealed the Labor Department order restoring Kaufman, thus triggering
the hearing beginning today before administrative law judge… Continue reading
Kucinich: Impeach Bush
by Matthew Hay Brown
Rep. Dennis Kucinich, who introduced legislation last year to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney, is now aiming higher.
On the House floor this evening, the Ohio Democrat proposed impeaching President Bush. In language similar to that in the articles of impeachment he raised against Cheney, Kucinich sought support for a 35-count indictment charging Bush with misleading Congress and the American people into war with tales of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
Democratic House leaders have opposed impeaching Bush or Cheney as an unhelpful distraction. They were nearly embarrassed last year when Republicans voted to take up Kucinich’s effort against Cheney in order to force a debate; they are unlikely to let the matter get so far this time.
Bob Fertik, president of Democrats.com, one of the groups pushing for impeachment congratulated Kucinich on his “historic leadership.”
“We’ve waited seven years to find one Member of Congress brave enough to stand up for our Constitution, for which generations of Americans have fought and died,” Fertik said. “We are thrilled and honored that Dennis Kucinich has chosen to be that one genuine patriot.”

WASHINGTON (AP) — Rep. Dennis Kucinich, a former Democratic presidential contender, said Monday he wants the House to consider a resolution to impeach President Bush.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi consistently has said impeachment was “off the table.”

Dear Mr. Barber:
I am a professional medical librarian who delivered “best evidence”
literature to the public health officers of the British Columbia government
for 25 years.
Your article, “The Truth is Out There,” is an “ad hominem”
approach to a critically serious matter, and it unfortunately fails to deal
with the evidence involved.
You will no doubt agree that 9/11 has changed the world. It is a seminal event
which has grossly undermined trust and erected enormous barriers between the
West and the Middle East. And it has led to widespread mayhem and death in that
region. Obviously, questions concerning our understanding of the event are of
the utmost importance.
The US government has steadfastly refused to release the evidence which it
claims to have. Evidence which, if in existence, would settle once and for all
the questions which are being raised, nearly seven years later, on the front
page of the Financial Times of London.
There were 85 cameras rolling outside the Pentagon, whose film could be offered
to save the Times the trouble of running these articles.
There are small, indestructible time replacement parts in all aircraft which
allow for positive identification, and these could be offered to silence critics
about Flight 77.
For several years NIST has been promising its imminent report on the strange
collapse of Building 7. This could be completed and released.
You say the 9/11 truth movement has taken over from the peace movement.… Continue reading

Blair Gadsby, the 45-year-old former owner of an adult-care home and an adjunct
professor of religious studies at a community college, never figured he would
be the type of person to stage a hunger strike outside the Phoenix office of
U.S. Sen. John McCain.
But about a year ago, Gadsby convinced himself that the U.S. government, not
terrorists, demolished the World Trade Center buildings in New York on Sept.
11, 2001. And that belief has turned him into a fasting activist.
“I’ve never been politically active until the 9/11 subject came up,”
he said, sitting on a fabric folding chair last week along 16th Street, outside
the complex that houses McCain’s Phoenix office.
Gadsby’s vigil on the sidewalk goes from sunrise to sunset. He holds up a
sign that features a Canadian tabloid’s front-page photo of a jet hitting one
of the towers. Underneath is his count of the days he has been fasting. Today,
it will be Day 15.
He has dropped 15 pounds. He feels weak by the end of the day. He has had eggs
thrown at him by taunting motorists. His wife is not happy with him. He worries
whether he’ll lose his teaching job.
Still, once he locked in on the idea that the government planned the murder
of thousands of its citizens, it became his overriding priority. He wondered
why it wasn’t getting more attention, so he got the idea to sacrifice himself
for some… Continue reading
