Kevin Ryan discusses nano-thermite (“super-thermite”) and provides very important results of his own investigation of connections between NIST and researchers studying/developing nano-thermite.
Several of us have been discussing nano-thermite for quite a while now. For instance, I announced in Boston last year the observation of red-gray chips which I found in WTC dust samples. Research papers on this material are now being written/reviewed for publication.
Thermite is comprised of aluminum powder and iron oxide powder (or another metal oxide). When the powders are “ultra-fine grain,” less than about 100 nano-meters, then nano-thermite is formed. This form of thermite, also known as “super-thermite,” is not just an incendiary — it is EXPLOSIVE!

Late last year, Congress agreed to a request from President Bush to fund a
major escalation of covert operations against Iran, according to current and
former military, intelligence, and congressional sources. These operations,
for which the President sought up to four hundred million dollars, were described
in a Presidential Finding signed by Bush, and are designed to destabilize the
country’s religious leadership. The covert activities involve support
of the minority Ahwazi Arab and Baluchi groups and other dissident organizations.
They also include gathering intelligence about Iran’s suspected nuclear-weapons
Clandestine operations against Iran are not new. United States Special Operations
Forces have been conducting cross-border operations from southern Iraq, with
Presidential authorization, since last year. These have included seizing members
of Al Quds, the commando arm of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and taking
them to Iraq for interrogation, and the pursuit of “high-value targets”
in the President’s war on terror, who may be captured or killed. But the
scale and the scope of the operations in Iran, which involve the Central Intelligence
Agency and the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), have now been significantly
expanded, according to the current and former officials. Many of these activities
are not specified in the new Finding, and some congressional leaders have had
serious questions about their nature.
Under federal law, a Presidential Finding, which is highly classified, must
be issued when a covert intelligence operation gets under way and, at a minimum,
must be made known to Democratic and Republican leaders in the House and the
Senate and to the ranking members of their respective intelligence committees—the
so-called Gang of Eight.…

Nationally syndicated conservative radio host Michael Reagan called for the
murder of a political activist on
Reagan had learned that political activists had reportedly been sending letters
and DVDs to troops in Iraq, advancing the theory that the U.S. government had
carried out the September 11, 2001 attacks. For promoting this unpopular view,

As a friend and colleague of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., during the last year
of his life, James Earl Ray’s attorney, for the last ten years of his
life and, finally, lead Counsel for Dr. King’s family in the 1999 civil

the assassination by CNN which is being aired on an ongoing basis. The fact
that my participation in the program was used to give it some credibility makes
this comment even more relevant.

WASHINGTON – A former Army scientist who was named as a person of interest
in the 2001 anthrax attacks will receive $5.8 million to settle his lawsuit
against the Justice Department. Steven Hatfill claimed the Justice Department
violated his privacy rights by speaking with reporters about the case.
Settlement documents were filed in federal court Friday. Both sides have agreed
to the deal, according to the documents, and as soon as they are signed, the
case will be dismissed.
The deal requires the Justice Department to pay $2.825 million up front and
buy Hatfill a $3 million annuity that will pay him $150,000 each year for 20
“Our government failed us, not only by failing to catch the anthrax mailers
but by seeking to conceal that failure,” Hatfill’s lawyers said in a statement.
“Our government did this by leaking gossip, speculation, and misinformation
to a handful of credulous reporters.”
The statement also blamed journalists for not questioning the motives of the
government’s statements or its tactics.
“As an innocent man, and as our fellow citizen, Steven Hatfill deserved
far better,” they said.

Oklahoma to feds: Don’t tread on me
State House defends its sovereignty from D.C. intrusion
Steamed over a perceived increase in federal usurping of states’ rights, Oklahoma’s House of Representatives told Washington, D.C., to back off.
Joint House Resolution 1089, passed by an overwhelming 92-3 margin, reasserts Oklahoma’s sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and, according to the resolution’s own language, is “serving notice to the federal government to cease and desist certain mandates.”
The Tenth Amendment states, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.”
Traditionally, this language has meant that the federal government is limited in its scope and cannot usurp the sovereign powers of states. In recent decades, however, as the size and reach of the federal government has expanded, many have come to question whether Washington has stepped on states’ rights and gotten too big for its breeches.
Charles Key, the Republican state representative who authored the resolution, told WND that he introduced it because he believes the federal government’s overstepping of its bounds has put our constitutional form of government in danger.

“The more we stand by and watch the federal government get involved in areas where it has no legal authority, we kill the Constitution a little at a time,” he said. “The last few decades, the Constitution has been hanging by a thread.”
Specifically, Resolution 1089 says the following:
“The State of Oklahoma hereby claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the Constitution of the United States.”
The resolution resolves that Oklahoma will “serve as notice and demand to the federal government, as our agent, to cease and desist, effective immediately, mandates that are beyond the scope of these constitutionally delegated powers.”
It also instructs that “a copy of this resolution be distributed to the president of the United States, the president of the United States Senate, the speaker of the United States House of Representatives, the speaker of the House and the president of the Senate of each state’s legislature of the United States of America, and each member of the Oklahoma congressional delegation.”
The resolution does not, as some have speculated, amount to secession, but it does send a warning signal to Washington: Oklahoma does not intend to be bullied by big brother government.…Continue reading

Republican presidential candidate John McCain was asked Thursday his opinion
of an attempt to impeach President Bush. His answer shouldn’t surprise anyone.
If nothing else, the fact that a question was even asked shows that McCain’s
campaign doesn’t do as rigorous a job as President Bush’s handlers do in weeding
out unfriendly questioners from town hall meetings.
"I appreciate this opportunity, Mr. McCain, to ask you a question,"
said a man attending the town hall meeting at Xavier University in Ohio. "Part
one is in regards to the articles of impeachment brought up by Kucinich for
Bush. What your stance is on that as far as manipulated intelligence to form
the policy. And then the second is Professor Gatsby from Arizona was outside
your office for sixteen days and didn’t eat solid foods. I was wondering if
you agreed to meet with him for the two hours he requested or does he have to
be a corporate owner with multi-million dollars to meet with you."
The Republican senator laughed.
"I do not agree with quote ‘articles of impeachment,’" McCain said,
in reference to a resolution introduced by Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH).

who staged a hunger strike outside McCain’s office requesting a meeting with
the senator. McCain said the professor ended his strike although he was refused

For six years, Sibel Edmonds has been carrying out an heroic crusade to protect her adopted country from national security threats within the top levels of the American government. Hired as an FBI translator in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks, Edmonds, a Turkish American, threw herself into the daunting task of translating thousands of hours of recordings of backlogged intercepts in Turkic, Farsi, and Azerbaijani. What she heard on the tapes was alarming: Turkish agents in the United States bribing high-level U.S. officials and obtaining our military and intelligence secrets. What she witnessed at the FBI was even more appalling: translators who were intentionally filing false translations and passing information to foreign powers; and, what’s even worse, FBI superiors who did nothing about it when these serious breaches were brought to their attention.
Unwilling to settle for the bureaucratic “don’t rock the boat” response she faced from immediate supervisors, Sibel Edmonds decided to take her concerns higher up the FBI chain of command. The result? She was fired, and those she tried to have investigated got off scot-free; some fled the country to avoid potential prosecution, while others continued their alleged criminal and treasonous activities. Some of the FBI colleagues who blocked her efforts were promoted.

John McCain’s right-hand man hit a raw nerve on Monday when he said another
terrorist attack on US soil would prove a “big advantage” to the
Republican nominee’s general election chances.
The comments by Charlie Black, who is arguably Mr McCain’s most experienced
adviser, put into words what many Republicans and Democrats have privately been
stating for months.
Mr Black, 60, who is a veteran of every Republican presidential campaign since
the 1980s and served in the Reagan and Bush Senior administrations, immediately
apologised for his remarks, which were published in an interview with Fortune
Mr McCain, whom opinion polls show is trailing Barack Obama, his Democratic
rival, by between six and 15 points, said: “I cannot imagine why he would
say it. I strenuously disagree?.?.?.?It’s not true. I have worked tirelessly
since 9/11 to prevent another terrorist attack on America.”
The Obama campaign said: “The fact that John McCain’s top adviser
says that a terrorist attack on American soil would be a ‘big advantage’
for their political campaign is a complete disgrace and is exactly the kind
of politics that needs to change.”
The controversy arrived at a bad moment for the McCain campaign, which has
come under increasing fire from otherwise friendly Republicans for its alleged
amateurism. Critics say it has sent out mixed signals about Mr McCain’s
political direction and shown a lack of “message discipline”.
